The Blood Dragon armor is usable in Dragon Age AND in Mass Effect 2. Entering the code gives you the armor for both. It's nice that you have Mass Effect 2 for X-Box 360 Strontium, this definitely proves that it is an isolated problem on the PS3. Whether it is EA, or Sony/Playstation Network.

I have the exact same problem as you guys... My Blood Dragon Armor does show on my profile but not in-game, however when I bought ME2 on PC the armor did show in-game... So I think this is more evidence that the problem is indeed somewhere at Sony and the Playstation Network

I want to add my name to the list of P-O'd customers...

EA Support just told me this is a know issue and directed me here so that I can keep track of the status of a fix.  This is AFTER they first had me delete all my game content and reinstall the game, download and install update, forced install of the Sony update.  Now I get a Player Profile Corrupted message every time I start the game.  I am so mad that EA support knew this is a problem but still gave me the typical run-around make the customer do a monkey dance and then maybe they will acknowledge this is a problem they actually have a real answer for (although apparently still no solution).  

Maybe this is over-simplifying (what do I know, I just work in videogames) but if purchasing an item clears this up, couldn't EA/BW add a do-nothing item (call it the Ring of Redeemability) to the DLC store and assign a price of $0. There's probably a transaction fee they would have to deal with, but would that be offset by reduced support contacts and not further alienating their customers?  In any case, a fix is overdue and EA support should give customers the real answer the FIRST time.

Major suck dude, major.  I've had minimal experience w/ EA customer support, but what I did have was indeed useless and redundant.

Bioware QA > EA QA > Sony QA

I work in QA myself, but diff industry, we have very high standards.  But the things that always have the most issues are application changes and launches, every single time.

Same here. I was emailing EA support about this problem and they told me to delete game data and reinstall. Now I get a corrupted data message. I email them again and they direct me here. Why not just direct me here in the first place? I get more information in this one thread than in the two long emails they gave me.

From my experience coronanick, I purchased the Feastday Pack Combo and the DLC was available again. I made the choice to pay for the fix in other words. I hope this helps.

Yes, for those of you that are worried your PS3 is broken because this game crashes all the time: Don't. It is this game that isn't working. Can we trade this in for the PC version?

I can confirm that if you buy the Feast Day Expansion Pack, this seems to allow the free content to be downloaded properly. I put a request to EA's tech people to provide a voucher for the Playstation store for all PS3 owners of the game, so that they can get the content free, as promised. Maybe, since so many people are upset, they will give us Awakenings for free. That would make everyone happy, right? I can always dream!

One of the Bioware folks commented on this thread saying the expiration date has been waived since this problem is occurring so no worries there.



With the feastday combo causing the issue to resolve itself hopefully the devs will be able to figure out a patch using that information.



Unfortunately they also said that the freezing issue is taking priority since it is effecting all players not just us few cursed wardens...

So I purchased other DLC rather than the feast day DLC. Figured if I was gonna blow 2 bucks I minds well pay a little more and get Return to Ostagar. Still no Shale or Blood Dragon armor on my list and then the in game merchant tried to sell me the Shale DLC, very frustrating.

Grimling and Mike the only known solution is the feastday combo pack, no others DLC has been said to fix it.

The expiration date has been removed for the content.

They are working on a patch or some free solution but the game freezing after the latest PS3 update has taken precedent.

You know the saying Misery loves Company. Guess i'm happy that i'm not the only one that spent the past 2 days deleting crap and readding it in "HOPES" the promotional content would magically appear.

+1 same problem. Bought mine from Best Buy (U.S) and I entered the code online. It shows on my Bioware profile, but not my PS3

Are you saying if I pay 3.99 for the feastday combo pack I'll get both shale and the armor? Otherwise what is the feastday combo pack, new to the game and I am a bit confused.

If your DLC (DownLoaded Content) is showing up here on bioware's site but not getting to your PS3 then yes it seems buying the feastday combo pack sets the way for the rest of your DLC to show up.

The feastday combo pack is a bunch of items you can buy from the shop in your base camp to raise and lower your teammates opinion of you. This way you can see how they treat you in both extremes.

Also there are other free items out there. Look for Dragon Age Journeys, it's a flash game on the Dragonage website. If you accomplish certain goals you get some items. Also there is a character creator that gets you another item. Sorry I don't remember the items off the top of my head.

hey guys

i've read through this entire thread, haha, sad but true and am just so frustrated with this situation. I contacted EA last night and they e-mailed me telling me to delete my Game Data Utility which really only corrupted my account in the game and sends me an annoying pop-up whenever i start it.



I looked through all of the information you guys have been throwing back and forth, and eventually just decided to buy something in hopes of my stuff showing up. Rather than waste my money on the Feastday stuff, which I don't think I'll use really, I decided to buy Warden's Keep. And guess what? Shale, the Dragon Armor, and all the stuff I got on Journeys still doesn't work.



WTF, EA, Bioware. I hope someone can resolve this, and soon, because I've just about lost my patience.

I've got problem with my Blood Dragon armor on DAO PC version, installed it manually and it says in game dlc"unauthorized content" also the same problem with shale, In game DLC shows nothing to download and in this site "your registered game promotions" instead of download link in there just "-----", Blood Dragon armor works just fine on Mass effect 2 tho. i really want this thing to be solved as soon as possible. thanks! oh yeah and when i log in dragon age origins, it works normally but when playing the game it says "unable to connect dragon age servers, please try again later" or something like that.

Oh yeah and mind also that i could normally download mass effect 2 blood dragon armor from "your registered game promotions" section, there is like normally, the download link but on DAO theres just ---- instead of the link, i hope you understand what i am saying.

Same problem here. I redeemed my codes in time and according to my profile I should have the Stone Prisoner DLC and the Blood Armor expansion, even for PC and XBox though I only purchased the PS3 game. BUT they just don't appear in my PS3. Even worse, I had already purchased the Feastday Combo before I redeemed the codes so I can't use the trick to get them. No other purchases made them appear (I've purchased Return to Ostagar and Soldier's Pick and it's been useless). I wrote to the technical support service and the only answer I got was "wait until the problem is solved". And I've waited and now my support service thread is closed by EA - but not solved at all. I'm very very disappointed, and I really hope we will get a solution soon.



Funny enough, when my characters go to the merchant who will sell you the Golem's rod, the systems allows me to download the Prisoner of Stone DLC... if I pay for it, of course. And I don't want to pay for something I should already have!!!



No wonder the 3.30 Update patch is also an important issue (I'm also suffering it) but I really want this one solved for once.

Im from USA/North America. I really wish developers would make sure everything works before releasing it..
