Hey all.
I'm starting a third playthrough, using the same character as my first one (Paragon Soldier) so that I keep my weapons, level, etc. However, is it possible for me to switch class (like you do with an ME1 save), or am I locked into Soldier?
Changing class from an ME2 Import. Possible?

pc: yes. 360: doubtful, though i think gibbed's next version will allow editing of 360 saves, too.

Using gibbed's save editor, you can change your class any time you want, even mid playthrough.

If you're importing from ME 1, you can change. If you import from ME 2, you cannot.

On PC you can change it with Gibbed SE. Make a fresh save after the suicide mission with a continued game. Then open and edit that save file with GSE. Change your class or anything else you want, then save the file. Start a new game and import that ME2 save and you're set. You might have to assign/add some fresh talent points since I can't recall if they carried over correctly.
