I stopped playing this game in December so I know a lot of changing has happened with this game, wether it be game mechanics, bug fixes, or any other sort of thing. I was wondering if having a rogue stack massive amounts of cunning with lethality with your dex stat your second highest still a good stat build for a rogue that focuses on backstabs.
HAHA......no. Pretty much nothing has changed if you play on a console. Dex bug still there. And plenty more.

You should have both. Pump dexterity until you feel you have a decent hit rate, then dump the rest into cunning.

Strength improves the damage and attack of any melee weapon (even daggers) and allows you to use a broader selection of weapons and armor. While str rogues are unconventional, they are a lot tougher than other rogue types and are also capable of reaching high def/dodge. Basically the tradeoff is improved survivability vs a decrease in defense.
Dex and str rogues are mostly on the same level, damage-wise. Only cunning rogues, when working with party members, have a distinct lead in DPS.
But then again high armor and defense skill is relative if you gonna be taking hits alot you, you likely not gonna be in as many backstabbing situations but more head to head, in which case whats the point in taking rogue instead or warrior then, since you gonna lose significantly large amount of damage for not having criticial talent from warrior. And if face on face isnt the plan youd have a really poor tank or CC to get hit alot as rogue with high dex.

I can fight with 10-15 people. Cailins armor is very good. 20% to avoid an attack + 10% on a necklace. I'm getting helt while fight is on, and stamina +0.75. Definitely best armor.
Yes and initially dump down on item stat buffs youd otherwise recieved and would improved your rogues damage out put, in favor of armor you shouldnt be needing less you play solo without a group otherwise the tank and mages should provide enough CC to never need the armor, and dex should provide enough def in itself not to get hit alot less swarmed.

Barring any weird bugs with xbox.... Put most of your points in dexterity (to increase damage and ranged attack score), followed up by cunning (to increase armor penetration and effectiveness of your rogue talents), and then strength (to increase general damage).

Ok, thank you very much.
I just read in another thread that Lethalality(sp?) on consoles doesnt work for bow usage.
Thats wierd.

Lethality gives you +10% melee critical chance and SHOULD let you use cunning instead of strength to determine any damage (melee or ranged). But, like I said, I don't know if it's bugged on consoles. It could be as it was probably intended for backstabbing purposes rather than ranged. Even if it doesn't work for bows, you should still pump up your dexterity. You might also want to have Shale in your party, as his rock mastery talent helps bowman. Try to find some armor that improves ranged abilities as well.
