Hey all, I've been following this tutorial here, and I'm up to the part where it says I have to add the player. The thing is, I don't really want the player to be visible in my cutscene, as I'm making a prologue of sorts, and I'm not planning on introducing the player yet.
Is there any way to just not use the player at all, or will I just have to hide him someplace out of the way?
Does a cutscene HAVE to have the player in it?

From what I've seen using staged conversations, which work in the same way as cutscenes, no. Just don't include the player character as a 'place' and the cutscene will carry on without him/her.

No you shouldn't have to worry about players in the cutscenes unless you put them there I think.

Only what you 'activate' will be in the cutscene, so if you don't include the player in the design, he should not be there. However, you will need to be careful with camera placement and the like, because whatever the camera can see, it will show (i.e. if you have someone standing in a door in-game, and the cutscene camera shows that door, it will show the person as well.)
