You need to First download the Character Creator software.
Then Create a Character and upload it to your Bioware/EA account.
Once that is done check in game from the main menu "Downloadable Content" under the Installed Content Tab.
You should see the Ring appear there make sure that you have it checked and enabled.
Once done it will be in your inventory.

Give it sometime after you upload your character to appear.  Mine appeared after about 30 min or so.

Wow I didn't know that we could get extra DLC for activity on Social BioWare. There should be a topic with all the extra stuff that you could get for non-gaming activities.

I installed the character creator, created a character, but see no option to upload it.

How do you upload?

I have also created a character and tried to upload it but nothing happens. I do NOT have the ring either.

I went through it again and noticed an "Upload Now" or something close to that under the Characters Portrait. It was available after I was done modifying the character. There is a DONE button at the bottom, if you press that you go back to the main menu.

I was originally looking for an upload option on the main menu, its on the last page of the character creation screen.

I'm playing the 360 version. I uploaded my character through the hourly updates it does through the DA servers. I got like 5 of my older character uploaded but when I check the download content screen from the main menu nothing shows up. Does the 360 version require a EA code redemption or something.
