Go BioWare giving jacob some love. Though I though Miranda and Jacob had a thing going on. To bad you really didn't know about it in the game. I think it would have been cool to have shepard get noisy. I think thats why jacob go so much hate. Everyone wanted to know about him and miranda and BioWare decided not to tell us. I guess it goes to show you when you don't tell people something they want to know about in the game the character gets the back end of it.

Not going to happen, Morinth singles people out if they stand out, jacob is so bland and boring he would just blend in with the in-animate objects on the normandy.

If jacob wasn't so closed I think my femshep would have gone for him. Though I'm thinking of creating my femshep to go after him now and see what kasumi says of that ha!

Well, of course she'd think he's attractive....as long as she doesn't talk to him much. Miranda was into him too, until she got to know him better. That seems to be what they were going for with his character. Good looks, difficult personality.



Glamour magazine has this running feature of "do, dump or marry".... Jacob's a dump (which implies, you wouldn't have refused the first date, just wouldn't want another).

I think it would be a nice idea for the ME3 endings. That the squad mates you didn't romance, find some love of their own.

For example, u heard her comment about Ken and Gabby. I hope BioWare brings them together
I imagine that by the end of the trilogy, most of them will go their separate ways, it would be nice to know that some of them chose to remain together.

Jacob and Miranda were an item once. It's hinted at a few times during ME2. Jacob is a good guy, who's built like a frigging statue. I could see why women would like him.

About the Jacob attraction, though...she's pretty much all set up to do some romancing. I mean, there's a BAR, man. AND there's a spot for a bartender. Notice how the camera zooms to a certain spot after you take a drink? Maybe Jacob will bartend. Hopefully not. I want the Asari.

Yeah, I totally want to marry them as Captain of the Normandy.  Then, of course, one of them would have to die.

Just because a bunch of folks on a couple of message boards dont like the one Black squad member does not mean he isn't "liked". Jacobs my right hand man in the game...everyone who says he has nothing to say is full of it. I love all the characters in the game but what really makes everyone else that much better than Jacob? I dont see it, and I've played this game about 12x now. The amount of hatred on these boards for Jacob makes no sense. I've tried to give some folks the benifit of the doubt but Im really starting to wonder about some of these people who play a game rife with aliens and such but hate on the one black squad member. And I dont want to hear any crap about how popular Anderson is, he's not a squadmate. I guess with the majority of gamers being young white males it shouldn't suprise me. I dont mean to offend...Im just saying.

It has nothing to do with him being black. He just didn't really have anything to make him stand out, and they mishandled the romance with him.

I actually like Jacob as a bro for Male Shepard, but they mishandled how femShep talks to him as I said.

It would have been cool if Jacob recounted his space pirate days or something, but you basically learn nothing about his past as it is.

I know some people want Thrall and Jaina to hook up. I'm one of them. 

It's not actually that different from people wanting, say, femShep/Garrus. There's a bond of friendship and respect there that goes beyond race or faction... not difficult to build on for a relationship.
