I think it would be fun to have more interaction between your squadmates.  A lot of the inter-party banter in Dragon Age was hilarious.  By the way your party members in DA would talk to each other it was apparent that some of them got along better with each other than others or that some were attracted to the other.  

It would be fun to be walking through the Citadel or Omega and hear Jack say to another squadmate, "Hey I got to see the rest of Zaeed's tattoos last night!" or someone saying to Samara, "I've been meaning to ask you a question about Justicars...."

Why?  Between a morality-confused Garrus and a regretful and dying Thane, I don't see the problem with a female Shepard (or Kasumi) being interested in a more stable and baggage-free character like Jacob.

Still, I think the main reason for people not to like the other characters so much is too little dialogue/developement to actually make them stand out/be memorable. More lines outside the romance dialogue (if you just want to remain friends with said character) and some extra text to the romance (felt like you're already off to bed in just +/- 4 talks, quite unrealistic if you want more than a fling imo) would have improved character developement drasticly I reckon.

Lol, I don't remember Kaiden saying that.    I agree with you about the dialog.   In some ways,its sort of odd that because including  interaction and branching dialog paths cuts down the total number of lines of dialog that a player actually sees in one playthrough, it is almost like a character without interaction can be more fleshed out.    Yet, I love the "player choice" and "interactivity", and the ability to feel like you make an impact on these characters, not just with the things you do (battle missions and the like), but also what you say.      

Maybe they'll move more character history/base personality stuff to that "object" trigger style they used with Kasumi and Zaeed, then save  the conversation wheels and dialog branches  for the "moral" choices that come up in the context of the game.   I mean, if Kasumi says Jacob's hot or she likes books,  do you really need to choose how to  respond to her  ? Wheel would probably just have  "I should go" on it  half the time anyway.   
 

It's probably a Male Shepard line only. It would be kinda awkward for Kaiden, who's obviously intrested in Female Shepard, to suddenly talk about Liara in that way. x) Especially when you consider one of the responses: "Remember LT, I saw her first". Kaiden's reply with a small grin/smile on his face: "Only by a few seconds Commander".

About the latter, similar things could be said about the conversation with Dr. Chakwas. I didn't mind the dialogue wheel at all there. All in all: Like you said before, it greatly depends on the situation. With more initmate/serious conversations, the dialogue wheel would be the best. For small remarks/comments, Kasumi/Zaeed style dialogue might be better. Still, I'd rather have some sort of dialogue wheel based convo with those 2 characters as well. They seem out of place without it when comparing them to the rest of the crew who all have dialogue wheel based scripts to them.

not to mention they use the same animations for male and female shep when talking with Jacob and Garrus. They could have done better with that.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion.  I, on the other hand, do not mind it that a female Shepard could simply want sex; they are about to embark on a suicide mission after all.  You can choose to talk to Jacob like a friend; in my female Shepard playthrough they were giving each other handshakes at the end.  I think the only thing that could be changed in the game is female Shepard's opening line when conversing with Jacob, but I don't have a problem with it regardless.

I wouldnt mind being a matchmaker between Kasumi and Jacob. Though I would prefer that she would ALSO be romanceable by Shepard, but on my different characters hooked up with Tali (most of them) or with someone else, I wouldnt mind seeing Kasumi and Jacob to have a thing going on. Party interaction, be it friendly or fighting, is always cool and I wish to see more of it in all games. Not everything has to be about Shepard you know. NPCs also have a life (so to speak).

Dragon Age and BG2 where awesome when it came to party banter.

Personally, I wouldn't want full fledged subplots about the romantic trials of my crew, but I don't think a line or two of "gossip" when you walk by  is bad, just more stuff that adds to the illusion of life happening aboard the Normandy, as you run around.

ME 3 is about a year or two off, We just might get a mssion with his old space pirate days and him and jack might have even met, but didn't know it sense jack ran with some pirates. I think jacob and jack might actually have met at some point, but didn't know why they couldn't include that in the story sense we all know wrex and aria met. I mean its a big galaxy but when it comes to shepard flying around its pretty small one.

As for a match making shepard it would be pretty cool if bioware let us play the date game with other characters. It would give the solomon gunn suit  its works.

As for jacob and Kasumi again. Its the fact she doesn't acknowledge shepard as well and because, I mean because there is no dialogue wheel shepard can't put his two cents in. I like the fact bioware put more dialogue and different reactions to her but the fact shepard can't comment on it is kind of annoying. I mean Come on Kasumi, comment on me I'm shepard BABY! It only makes sense if shepard comments on it. Its his ship and his crew Kasumi is apart of that crew.  Shepard should have the right to say whats going on on his ship. Why can't shepard acknowledge she might have feelings for jacob.  You don't have to make it like shepards trying to get into her pants, but it would be interesting to see the paragon/renegade response to the statement.

No one would be complaining if Shepard acted that way by making dialog choices that where romantic based, it may cause people to not like the romance but not dislike Jacob. 

Its the forced flirting for all dialog option's you make with Jacob no matter what they are, Shepard uses a really ****ty voice while practically dry humping the table she is leaning on.  That is why 99% of the femShep player's on the forum either dislike Jacob entirely or dislike talking to him with femSheps. 

You may not have a problem with it but you are in a severe minority, even the most adamant Jacob fans, which there are not many of, express a dislike for the way femShep talks to Jacob.  You are obviously one of the few Jacob fans on the forum, and even you recognize the poor dialog.  You may say it does not bother you, but you admit its presence, this is not something people are making up or exaggerating.

Its not that easy. Yes your a Talimancer so what. I'm sorry to say I'm a Tali cultests myself, but I like kasumi just as much. I mean I've created a shepard for every single romance options.
