Loving the comments at Kotaku (I couldn't help but contribute some of my own).

Poor David, the latest victim of BW's PG-13 censorship chisel.

No sense in not re-posting this pic (besides, it's appropriate, if he knows what awaits him):

That's different, dude. Bro. Like, bro, dude, like everyone knows penises are totally gay, bro. Dude.

You know, I really don't give two sh*ts about the absence of same-sex relationships in Mass Effect and just roll my eyes at threads about that "controversy", but the only thing that had me rolling my eyes even harder was this. Seriously, What. The. Fug.

They'd have to resubmit to the ratings board for including future-penises in their game along with the future-blouses and space-furniture.

Who cares if its homosexual or not. Gay means happy. Gosh. Anyway, I stated it once I will state it again.

Question(s): isn't David considered a work of art? Since when does art get censored for being indecent?

I have to agree, the absence of David's stuff is.....disturbing. Maybe it broke off during transport?

Since when doesn't it? Especially in America, land of the sexually cloistered.

Depictions of genitalia, art or not, means they'd have to resubmit the game to the ESRB. They covered it up well enough by giving the statue a significant amount of damage in other areas, I don't see why it's a problem.

"I shall call you Eduardo"
Props for the reference.

That said...yeah, I'm pretty damn confused about it.  Explicit sex scenes is one thing, nudity in a work of art is quite another.  Any explanation Bioware?
