Who said that I was bland homogenized multi-player and a ****ty single-player campaign?

Nobody, to my knowledge. Are you?

well with respect to everyone here most games in the future will require users to be continuosly connected to the internet so will likely have some form of MP on them anyway.

Wait, what, noooooo!   That means I'll have to actually interact with real people?  Do not want.

I can tell you've really put some thought into your comments in this thread.

Also, I like to use sarcasm.

ME3 will succeed as single player game, go back to your xBox and play Halo or something.

What is it with some people obsessing over MP?

You mean the people who vehemently oppose it?

It's silly. If you don't like to pvp don't do it. Simple. :wizard:

Wow. I really don't get why people are getting so hostile over the mere mention of this idea. If it didn't hurt the single player gameplay in any way, why would it bother you so much to at least have it as an option?

Personally, I think it would be awesome, if done right.

If it gets in the way of the development of the single player, no. I wouldn't really mind a multiplayer mode it it's good. But they should focus on finishing the Shepard saga.

The people who want to see MP in every game they play.
If I want to PvP I go play other games. But I don't want to see ME turned into a MP.

Same, but to answer your question I am 99.9% certain that most of the people on this site (and gaming sites in general) actually suck at video games. They have enough trouble killing AI to have to worry about killing other players.

but it will because any all games that have a story mode and MP mode the one that gets screwed over and messed up is the story mode. Mass Effect 1 and 2 sold very well on its story ME 3 does not some elitist garbage like mp

That's great. I do want to see some multiplayer in ME. So why don't you simply not enjoy the the optional multiplayer content that has nothign at all do with the story while I do?

Anecdotal evidence. Cite examples or GTFO.

I want 100% of ME3's budget going to concluding the story in dramatic and memorable fashion. Developing a multiplayer mode does not facilitate that, so I regard it as extraneous and wasteful.

Having Multiplayer doesn't mean the SP will suffer. Ever hear of Bioshock 2? Regardless of your opinion of the multiplayer the singleplayer was still top notch.

Modern Warfare 2 is a prime example of sidelining any pretense of plot or story in favor of developing multiplayer gameplay.

Oh wait, you didn't like it when I mentioned that before. I wonder why.

Well I want Bioware to ignore the majority of their fanbase because they're happy to receive whatever offerings of scrap Bioware offers them and most of them are naive kids with no life experience who know next to nothing about about the process of developing a loaf of bread, let alone a video game.

When is that ever going to happen?

One video game does not provide conclusive evidence to support this claim.

Admit it the conclusion is made already for you because you suck at video games and therefore dislike competitive gaming on principle.

Speaking of obviously naive, there are only a few people in this thread who seem to believe that Bioware's resources are endless, and that implementing a high-quality and yet thoroughly optional multiplayer mode is not only plausible but practical and even well-advised.

Two thoughts:

1. The regular part of the game, the story single player mode would remain unchanged and undiminished.

2. It would be a great way to introduce my wife and other people to the Mass Effect universe.

Color me intrigued by the idea. It could be good for us. But I guess it depends on how difficult it would be to do. Naturally none of us want any focus taken away from our beloved RPG franchise.

I don't believe Bioware's resources are endless, but I definitely believe they care more about making money than quality games. Not that their games aren't good but they definitely don't put as much money as they could into their games, or as much time and effort into developing them as they should.
