try reinstalling then patch then install the dlc again,
or go into your mass effect directory and delete the kasumi from the DLC folder and see if it still crashes.

Did it work for you? Didn't for me:/

I had crashes but it turned out to be my video card which I fixed. Now I'm going to have to not thrash the living daylights out of it because the first sign it's on it's way out has surfaced.

Did it still crash when you removed only kasumi? Although you wont be able to load any save after you installed kasumi.

Well the way I see it is, I don't want to settle for a Kasumi-less game. I paid $7 for her, and I deserve full functionality. Not to mention I'll probably be buying all the future DLCs (I've alrdy bought 2), and it wouldn't work if anyone of them doesn't work...

Yes, but the process I refer to is to simply determine if kasumi is the cause of the problem.
Have you used save games editor? or modded coalesced.ini?
sif you would pay for it anyway, I figured I paid too much for the game itself in the beginning, although I suppose we get ripped off sick here in australia with all prices.

I'm getting a repeatable crash right at the end of the mission battling with Hock. I complete the mission and go to the Illusive Man summary screen. As soon as I click Exit to leave the summary screen Windows reports that Mass Effect encountered a problem and will close. This is with the 1.02 patch and CD version. I have seen this crash reported elsewhere briefly but there seems to have been no fix - EA reportedly said that they had not tested Win 7 64 bit ??!!

My system Specs: Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1, Core i5 2500k overlocked to 4.5GHz, 8 gigs RAM, ATI 6870 1Gig vid card, Asus P8P67 Revision B3 motherboard. Direct X 11. Sound = M-Audio Fast Track Ultra external USB audio interface with latest 64 bit driver.

1)Stupid I know, but you need to make sure DirectX 9C is installed. DirectX 11 isn't backward compatible enough to make the game work correctly.

2) Some games hate overclocking of any kind, so you may want to dial it back to stock.

3) Try it in Windows mode to see if/how that works.

4) Ck you HD for errors, and may have to reinstall game/dlc.

5) Triple check you have plenty of space on both the operating HD and the ME2 install disk(if they are separate). You probably do, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Got through the mission at last :) but not by changing anything with the system. I went back to a save just before all the action starts in the mission and played through again. At the end I let Kasumi keep the greybox instead of destroying it - not sure if that made any difference, but worth trying of you have the problem. Anyway, no crash when I pressed the mission summary exit button - hurrah !

I had this problem. I installed directxC and it fixed it, I had to restart the mission though (I had previously tried restarting, re-installing the DLC and several other things).

When I played it before the fix, katsumi looked normal throughout the mission & end scene. After the fix, she was cloaked with white fuzz the entire time.
