Wait a second... you went TO consoles FROM pc because of DRM... *head explodes*

On that note... Games for Windows Live sucks. Thank god Bioware avoided it.

Yes. There's a lot more of us out there than you'd think. I refuse to let my computer that I work on be infected with rootkits and all kinds of DRM garbage just to play a game.

That's why when a company goes and releases a quality game like DA:O without the bad DRM, I'll put down my hard earned cash to support it, but there are a TON of games I skipped because of the DRM.

Also, sports games on the PC blow compared to a 360 :innocent:

I loathe GFWL with a passion, just thought I'd add that.

As an aside, I don't like Steam much either. Its the idea of the games being tied to your account which some faceless company can suspend at any time and stop you playing the game. Not to mention its a method to cynically take down the (perfectly legal) second hand market.

But while Steam is fairly hassle free, comes from PC roots and is well designed for PC and comes from a company whose track record has generally been good. GFWL is a buggy mess, clearly designed for consoles and comes from a company well known for its strongarm tactics towards its competitors and its consumers.

Wait a second? So you actually didn't buy DAO because you can't get Live achievements? Haha, oh wow. Now THAT'S SAD.

Also I would never buy a multiplatform game for console. PC versions are always superior in terms of graphics and customization. Collecting console games is also very stupid in a sense that all your collection is useless once the next generation comes and you won't be able to play your old games anymore. On PC you don't have that problem and all released PC games still work on a modern PC.
