Do I have to pick a new talent right at a new level or can I save talent-points for a later specialization?

One of the developers said it is up to you when you level-up, but I would like to know if I can choose an incomplete level-up by just spending attribute points and selecting new skills.

I don't know if this has ever been addressed, but I would assume it it NWNesque..

Due to character building you might need to "save" some points..

I'm only guessing though..you may not need multiple points for leveling up talents? It may only require 1 point..in which case there is no point in saving them.

I'm pretty sure you can save them. I think we saw that in the giantbomb demo.

As Malanek said - you can save them. And you can spend them whenever you want - not 'just' when you level up. Looks like you'll have a little flashing sprite on your portrait until you do spend all your points though.

Yes, I have read you can save points until you wish to spend them. I don't think specializing costs extra points as much as you need to the right skills and talents. It is a trade off to go around with unspent points which would make you weaker.

I think you can save them up but you need to do a full level up if you want the stats probably...although there is a good chance im wrong.

From what I saw a biowarian post a few weeks ago its exactly like Mass Effect except also with stats. Basically when you level up you automatically get your HP from the lvl (and any bonus stat increases that you don't directly have control over).

And with that you get stat, skill and talent points to spend 'whenever you want'. Along with the specialization points at 7 and 14. So think ME but with more options.
