READ FIRST: How to report issues in the PC Tech Support Forums

Thank you for visiting the PC Technical Support forum. These forums are provided for the community to assist one another through technical. Although EA and BioWare do not provide official support on these forums, they can be a valuable resource for community members and the Dragon Age development team to identify issues, assist players through common issues and gather information for trouble shooting and resolution in a future update.

Before posting your issue, please browse this forum to see if the issue has been reported before. If it has been, post to that thread, either simply to reiterate that you too are experiencing the issue (this helps us get a sense of how widespread an individual problem is) or to add further information on the issue.

Using these methods for reporting issues is very important. It will not ensure a speedy resolution to your issue via community assistance or a patch update. But it will ensure that issues you report are updated in the QA bug database and fully investigated.

Issue reporting:

1) Fully describe the problem. Please don't assume that because an issue has been posted elsewhere that the reader already has an understanding of what is happening. Describe as completely as possible what is happening and how it is different from what you expect. Include any related variables or events that you think may be related to the issue.

2) Include steps to reproduce. If you can get the issue to trigger consistently, please provide the steps that you went through to get it to occur.

3) Steps to work around. If you can get around the issue with some fiddling, please provide those steps. This will help not only the community, but the Dragon Age QA team to more easily understand the issue and target potential areas for investigation.

4) Visual aids. If you have an issue that can be displayed, please provide a screenshot or video. Even though you are displaying the issue, it is still important to describe the issue and what to look for in the image or video.

5 Provide regional information. Please specify which region version of Dragon Age: Origins you are playing, as well as the region for any DLC and the Awakening expansion.
