As a guy I would probably scrog Thane.  I already have a bromance with him as I can empathize with his feelings on wanting to make the most of your mortality.  I lost my older brother to lung cancer(he was a smoker) and it was really hard on me and made me realize that life really is short.
Even though I do not have any sexual attraction towards Thane, I do love him nonetheless in a bromantic kind of way due to how much we have in common.

If I  were gay I would scrog him instantly.  Hell, I'd considering it even as a straight male.

If there ever happens to be a gay option in ME, I'd completely support Thane & MaleShep.  I almost prefer them over FemShep & Thane. Not sure why, though. 

So. To answer the OP -- Liara. There's just something incredibly romantic, artistic and soothing about her aura. And plus, she's a killer information broker + scientist. Maybe she could help me out on those lengthy academic researches and studies.

Scrog is a slang term used in the early 21st century.  I do not know why you asked me such a question, you should be focused on the mission at hand.
