[And extremely extremely bored... come on Halo Reach!]
Anyone disappointed with both ME2 and Avatar?

I loved Avatar, its my #1 movie. ME2 was only mildly entertaining. Yay, I am a minority here

I thought Avatar was pretty good for watching one time. I have no desire to watch it again.
Im enjoying ME2 but I dont really think it holds a candle to ME 1.
So put my mildly amused on both counts.

ME2 was amazing. Avatar was the biggest piece of trash I have seen in the last decade. I can't believe people actually praised that abomination. Personally I walked out and demanded refund.

^ The reason people liked it so much is because of it being one of the first actual 3D movies, otherwise it's not really worth all the praise.

Put a hundred million dollars of marketing behind anything and it will succeed.
I suspect a lot of Avatar's ticket sales came from people who were just curious to see whether or not the 3d technology was any good.

Ever wonder what what happen if we got the hordes Na'vi and Tali fanboys in a fight? Somebody make it happen.

Loved ME2 as well, hated Avatar. Rape of native soil by foreign people? Read the History books, it's been done.

lol wut? Avatar? Sorry but I will never play Avatar as long as tiny shred of self esteem is left in me.
Mass Effect 2 was a fantastic game...nearly flawless if it weren't for the minerals and the paragon/renegade morality systems that are broken. Still I easily avoid both of those problems through modding my saves so the game itself is still an amazing experience.

Some good points, particularly by Vena 86.
I was amused by those that bemoan me comparing like for like (which of course I wasn't) or those that claimed some clearly think too much about these things.
Maybe my minority status continues that I can't sit in front of a screen of flashing colours and sound for either 3 hours (Avatar) or 60 hours (ME2) and then not apply any thought, judgement or placement on a scale of enjoyment about it.
