We've already heard a lot about New York City in Kasumi's DLC, so why not that? I'm curious to see what the new Statue of Liberty looks like.
Also, Hong Kong would be cool as would Moscow, Tokyo, or Montreal.
If a part of Mass Effect 3 takes place on earth, which city would you like to see?

Honestly the most iconic would have to be New York City, can't really think of a better location than that.

New Delhi, capital of the world's largest democracy.

Oh yeah, let me add...SINGAPORE!
Singapore is supposed to be one of the richest nations on the planet by the time of Mass Effect 2. I think had they wanted to, Bioware could of had Kasumi's mission take place in Singapore.

No more Africa, please. Halo and District 9 took all the fun and originality out of that. Russia? Overused in CoD. New York? Too stereotypical. China or Japan? It would seem like racism and/or mockery, and it might affect some of the middle east as well. And we can't use Florida, because according to BioWare, it doesn't exist....
I dunno. Wherever it needs to be to make the story best.

We already deal with too much politics in Mass Effect. I vote for NY.

or any other ambiguous make-believe future earth city, so that bioware doesnt further alienate the community even more so that it already has.

I would like for it to be in Washington D.C. As it is the capital of the world. HA!
But in all actuality, If we go to earth, it will probably be New York.

New York, Tokyo, London, Paris. Those cities are pretty iconic.
I'd also toss in Berlin, Bejing and Moscow myself, for the huge historical importance.

London would be awesome I have to admit. Just imagine how cool all the classical architecture from Big Ben, to the Parliamentary buildings would look next to all of the new, futuristic looking architecture.
It would be like taking a trip to the future.
New York City would be cool for the same reason. Seeing monuments like the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center in the futuristic metropolis would make us feel like we're still at home in this fantastic sci-fi envisioned future.

I think so. Vancouver? Or didn't Kaiden tell us that most of Vancouver is under water by now?

I think Mexico City or Perth would make for a cool backdrop.
Personally I just kinda think New York, Tokyo, LA, D.C. and London are kinda old hats

Mostly because I'm biased and I want to see how bad my home town's gotten in the last 180 years.

Yeah but thats what would be cool, all of that "old" architecture mixed with Holographic Billboards, Maybe some new hologram tomestones for arlington cemetery... I think it would mix well.. Not to mention that most things in the mass effect universe are old. The citadel is older than anyone knows. Omega is probably nearing ancient status, and the flotilla was built some time around about NOW.

Rome of course, the most important city is history.
.
But as it's not that much today, I would go with.... I don't know.
