No need to say what bands or artists, just say the genre.
What kind of music do you listen to?

I'm not a "genre guy". If I like it, I like it. Nothing more needs to be said.

I'm not so great at pinning down specific genres, but I tend to listen to a combination of symphonic, trance-y music that is calm and atmospheric-- it's pleasant when I have a lot of work to do.
But then again, some of my favorite artists belong in the "House" genre.
Not sure my taste in music is particularly praise-worthy, however, as I also listen to disco and 80's pop with enthusiasm.

This. I'm not a big fan of modern rap and hip hop, however. It died for me with the 80s. Then again I can say that about a few other genres as well.

I have a rather broad taste, but most bands I like play various kinds of Metal.
Atm, I´m totally into Alestorm (pirate metal).

Depends on mood; but Extreme Metal is a general constant; Death Metal in particular.

pretty broad, could be Rob Dougan one minute, or Beastie Boys the next, most popular is dance, like the Chemical Brothers, Moby's Play album was the best he had done so far, listen to that on occasions.

Looks like I'm the late entry in the trio but same as Statulos & Woldan.
Metal, Death Metal, more Death Metal, Norwegian Death Metal. You get the idea.

There aren´t many Norwegian Death bands, but Cadaver and especially Blood Red Throne are just awesome.Wicked 702 wrote...

Most of the great Scandinavian Death comes from Sweden... or your state; since Unique Leader Records (with the awesome Deeds of Flesh!) is there.

Alternative Rock, (pop) punk, punk, little bit of rap/pop, 90's era country. Think that's about it. Oh, and stuff like H.I.M. and the Rasmus.

Nice to know I'm not alone in the world plus half of the stuff I listen to can't be classified

Everything can be classified. It does not have to match what the critics say, but that´s irrelevant.
