I love music. The soundtrack to my life contains everything, though I do go out of my way to avoid opera. I really hate opera, oh and Abba, can't stand them either.
As for the rest, 70s stuff, from Led Zep, Alice Cooper, Purple, Trex and so on and so on. Gotta like trance and other electronica on the way to see H.I.M, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bring me the Horizon, Marylin Manson - my daughter plays some awesome heavy metal - dunno what most of the time - don't care, sounds great. Listening to Beethoven Pastoral suite right now as it is sunny spring morning in God's own county.
I even have an appreciation for some rap music after watching all the series of The Wire.
I think music is the closest humans will ever hear to the voice of god.
