Finally finding the bar on the Normandy.

Suicide Mission, by far. When I first completed it, I was so hyped up by it I reloaded the game and went throught it again. Everything between jumping throught Omega 4 and seeing a glimpse of the Reaper fleet is maybe the best payoff I have encountered in games.



Only thing that bugs me is that the music which plays during the first groundfighting part of the mission is nowhere to be found, not even in official soundtrack.

Again, The End Run. Even though the scene itself was pretty darned epic, the music just pushed it over the top into supreme awesome. Love the choir at the end too.

For me the most epic moment was when you first see the human reaper

Honestly from the moment I entered the Omega 4 relay I was on the edge of my seat. It was my first playthrough and I didn't know all the little tricks to making sure my team survived. I just knew I was going into a suicide mission and was hoping my crew and Shepard would survive.

First taking out that frakkin Collector ship with the Thannix Cannon was awesome. Seeing how all my upgrades helped to keep the Normandy together without any deaths was very cool.

Then the battle through the Collector station, fighting the Collectors to hit the next hatch so that Legion could get through with the great score playing in the background was great.

Anyways, just the whole thing, until the very moment your crewmate helps you onto the ship as you make the final escape - I was disappointed I had lost Miranda but otherwise - everyone survived, Collector base and ship destroyed and onwards to ME3 and that crazy fleet of Reapers.

The entire suicide mission was epic but even more epic was the ending. The human reaper dies and falls taking the platforms with it. Tali starts to fall. I almost sh!t a brick as she fell slowly to her doom. Then Shepard swoops in, misses and just when all seems lost, grabs her and hauls her up. Meanwhile Garrus is desperately trying to steady himself in the back. Suddenly it all goes black. Shepard wakes up, goes over to check on his squadmates with the music building. The start to run while Harbinger narrates. Tali and garrus jump on the Normandy while Joker provides cover fire. Shepard gets there late with a huge gap in the way. He jumps and starts to lose his grip, only to have Tali return the favour and haul him in. Then they fly out as the station explodes with the music reaching a crescendo of pure epic.

Probably the entire suicide mission and the final cutscene with the Reapers decending on the Milky Way. Didn't feel as epic as the last few cutscenes in ME1, with the Alliance fleet destroying Sovereign and all.

Shep walking down towards the SR-2's CIC for the first time with that music playing and the small grin he has as Jacob says "Welcome to the new Normandy, Commander." Gave me the warm and fuzzies

The most heart-warming moment for me was being greeted by the happiest and most excited Wrex I have ever seen...made me get all mushy inside.

"Hell yeah!" moment: Watching the Thanix Cannon annihilate the Collector ship. YUSS!

Brick-s***ing revelation moment: Two-parter of finding out from Legion that the Geth he represents are not anti-organic and are open to peace, and then subsequently discovering that the Heretics only made up 5% of the TOTAL Geth population, economy, military potential, etc...bricks were most definitely excreted....

And the moment of pure epic-ness: Escaping the Collector Base (gotta love that soundtrack, 'End Run' ftw!), made even more awesome by the fact that I was blowing up the Collector Base, had no casualties, and Garrus was the one to help me onto the ship after my slo-mo leap of faith.

But frankly, the whole game was amazing.

EDIT:  The reveal of the Normandy SR2 was one of my favourite too, but I don't know how I'd classify it...gave me the tingles though, and it was pretty heart-warming moment when Joker and Shepard are looking at it and saying it needs a name.

More than any one moment... it was the genuine emotion that each character would display. And the body language. It really added a level of believableity to the game that a lotof others are lacking.

Probably:

• Normandy SR-2 reveal
• 'Welcome to the new Normandy, Commander'
• Garrus getting shot down by Tarak (I actually recall myself screaming 'NOOOO!' at the screen.)
• Landing on Korlus. Seriously, they look like three goddamn commandos.
• The entirety of Tali's recruitment mission. Mostly due to the music.
• Samara's reveal.
• Legions reveal.
• Fighting the Thresher Maw.
• The main chamber of the 'derelict' Collector ship...and how freaking big it is.
• Escaping from the Collector Ship.
• And, of course, the Suicide Mission. All of it.

Also, this part scared me sh*tless.

I would have to say the scene when the Normandy SR-2 destroys the collector ship.  The fact that it's the same collector ship that destroyed the original Normandy made it all the more epic.  It was like the Normandy had been avenged.
I didn't know what to expect when I saw the reaper beam on the Normandy head towards the Collector Ship but as soon as I saw the explosion I was like

"HELL YEAH!"

Joker's line "how'd you like that you sons of ****es!" Made it even better.

Then when Shepard gave the command to finish it off and you see the Normandy slice that bastard in half...totally badass!

Seriously, after being pursued, and victimized by that ship throughout the entire game, seeing it get blown up was very very satisfying. 

QFT. That's exactly how I felt. I felt like the SR1 had been avenged. When the Collector Ship got hit with the SR2's new cannon, I was like "HA, HOW DO YOU LIKE WHEN THE NORMANDY SHOOTS BACK THIS TIME!"

good sir, there was no ONE epic moment in ME2, there were many!

-SR1 Normandy destruction
-Re-appearance of Tali
-Re-appearance of Ashley
-Re-Appearance (though awfully awkward appearance) Liara
-Garrus!!!!!
-Suicide Mission
-Revealing the Reaper Armada
-Tali loyalty mission

... and so forth and so forth...

oh I guess Conrad returning was....nice?

The track is called "Normandy Reborn" on the soundtrack.  It, Grunt's theme, Suicide Run, and Samara's theme (due to the choir bits) are the most epic.

Definitely everything after the Omega 4 relay, especially the biotic shield part and the music that plays during it. It really gets your blood pumping. And the speech before you go and kill that Reaper Larva is just WIN.

As for the music, I just can't stop listening to "Heart of Courage" (the song that plays in the launch trailer) and "The End Run". They're both amazing.
