Humiliating Al-Jilani(not punching her).
The endgame - revealing the Reapers are coming.
The opening scene. (ALL OF IT)
Legion's reveal and subsequent recruitment.

I think it is because in ME I always have a difficult time killing or keeping him a live. When Wrex pulled his street cleaner on me, I was like, damn, this mother****** just pulled on me.
Since my first playthrough is a Soldier and he is one of my mains, one of the ones I used to reflect how I would handle a situation which made the moment really intense for me. His ambitions, acheived goals, and the greeting he gaved me filled me up with some emotion. So far, this is my epic moment.

Suicide Mission, by far. When I first completed it, I was so hyped up by it I reloaded the game and went throught it again. Everything between jumping throught Omega 4 and seeing a glimpse of the Reaper fleet is maybe the best payoff I have encountered in games.
Only thing that bugs me is that the music which plays during the first groundfighting part of the mission is nowhere to be found, not even in official soundtrack.
thats the one in the biotic bubble...or just search on youtube "mass effect 2 missing ost"

Biotic fight between Samara and Morinth
Whole Suicide Mission...especially Biotic Bubble (some emotional tension for me with samara starting to struggle)
Meeting Wrex was awesome too "Shepard! My friend!"
Normandy SR2 born!

It would be one of the best gaming scenes of all time, but I have to admit that the end of the mission was just bad. I didn't like the human reaper idea, it was a bad story element, bad boss fight, and well mostly just cheesy. The game ended, and I was left sitting therethinking, thats it?
Still all the stuff leading up to that was pure awesome.

2. Seeing the SR2 Normandy the first time
The whole game was awesome, but those two were epic!

2. Breaking the Eclipse merc's neck and shooting down the explosive canister at the beginning of Miranda's loyalty mission.
3. Saving Joker in the beginning.
4. Samara and Morinth's biotic clash.
5. Thane's "entrance."

I can't.... find one or 5 single events that were epic. All of them pretty hard, it was an fun 5 day fest of non-stop playing in between my college classes.

That or the end run especially with the music also called the end run.

The whole game is like one long, drawn out epic moment, but for me the Crowning Moment of Awesome had to be roundhouse kicking the Varren right in the face on the Quarian Scout Ship N7 mission. Still gets me every time.

2. Garrus's revealing himself. (nice headshot moment...I wished there was a option on the conversation wheel saying "Nice shot garrus")
3. Shephard's paragon and renegade speech during the suicide mission. I loved that.
4. Normandy SR2 blasting apart the collector ship with the Thanix cannons.
5. The Collector's and Harbringer's attack on the colony
6. The Suicide mission starting and then crashing into the collector's space station
7. The scene in which shephard jumps across the gap to the normandy and then the normandy escapes the blast that either kills all the collectors and the space station.
8. The final scene in which shephard's crew all looked at him, and Joker gives him a datapad with the data of harbringer on it. Then Shephard looks into space, and the stars look back, which shows the reapers coming out of dark space towards the milky way.

Sadly, I just came out of a playthrough, and the suicide mission didn't feel as 'epic' as it used to. Time to switch over to another game for a while, I think.

Halo? You've got to be frigging kidding!
Yeah, it was epic, but come on! If you had said halo wars, hells yeah, EPIC cutscenes (to bad the game is ****)
serously... Halo was not epic at all compared to most games, DA:O is pretty damn epic, ME is pretty epic (1-2), LOTR is pretty EPIC, but Halo? Come on man... That game died several years ago... Sigh, halotards

Oh, back to my favorite Epic Moments
1) When Joker pulls out the big guns for the first time and bloody's the nose of the Collector Cruiser
2) When Joker goes in and serves up a dose of ActRite on the Collector Cruiser and sends it to the next world.
3) At the end, bringing down the big bad and the scenes that followed.
..... freaking great!!!

2. The rebuild Normandy destroys the Collector Ship in the Suicide Mission. Shepard orders Joker to show the Normandy's new teeth, the Tanix Cannons. They appear underneath the Normandy. They don't seem that special. Then they power up. The camera zooms out once again, you only see the Collector Ship from above. It's small, on the right side of the screen. A devestating blue beam enters the screen. As it approaches the enemy ship, time seems to go slower. Then it connects...
3. Harbinger releasing control for the last time. A heavily weakened Collector General tries to pull itself up by clinging to the central control panel. As the Reaper control fades, the light fades from his eyes. He looks up, trying to understand what's happening. Perhaps he's overwhelmed by his freedom, after thousands of years of servitude. Then he turns around with his face. A massive shock wave is approaching him. Before he can make peace with his fate, he's already dead. True freedom, at last.
There are many more I could think of, but then my post will become too long. If it isn't already. ;D

when you discover that the collectors were protheans
Oh Yeah! This was the point in the adventure that refreshingly renewed my faith in the writers' skills, as in that
the Collectors were not just another convenient villain race pulled out of thin air a-la 4-seasons of crappy redundant Heroes-who-have-nothing-to-say-but-prove-that-we-don't-need-such-'Heroes'.
My most "Epic" moment in ME2 has to be the Vents part of the suicide mission. Very involving.
(Sorry Thane I really thought Vents were your thing; it's not about your flashbacks creeping me out.)
The absolute Epic moment that literally got me on board the Mass Effect ship though is called 'Jennifer Hale'.
She gave life and meaning to taking command of The Normandy and embarking on the adventure as a Spectre.

2. I actually whooped with delight to see Garrus, Tali and Kaidan. I had missed my old squad so much. Of course I wanted to smack Kaidan at the end of his conversation but hey...
3. Being able to talk about Virmire. "I left a friend to die" was my first chance to actually talk about how I felt about it.
4. The last scene where Shep tells Tim off. Awesome.
