So I played through ME2 once, got the Mission Accomplished achievement. I
then used the import function to import the ME2 character and began the new career with the various benefits
that come with the import. Once getting to the end of the game and
beating it, I don't receive the Long Service Medal achievement. I
figured it just glitched, reset the console -- after saving of course -- and
turn it back on to see if I had gotten it, I did not. So I played
through the ending a few more times in hopes of getting it -- I wanted to
get the No One Left Behind achievement anyway. Jack kept dying -- but
still no achievement..

Has this been a problem for anyone else?
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated..

if you played through once but did not import from ME1 then you just get mission acomplished try going through again with casual and I got an idea why jack died for you did you solve the argument with jack and miranda? if not did you try to use the charm/intimidate choices after they fought? the loyalties depend on each argument I got every acihevement except for insanity(damn difficult need help stuck on collector ship)

Long Service Medal:Complete Mass Effect 2 Twice or Complete it once with a chracter Imported from Mass Effect 1

there is only one achievement which cannot be done in difficulties lower than 'insanity' and that is for completing game in insanity still working on that

I can't import my ME1 save file because while it's on its 3rd play through, it's in the middle of it. And when I imported the ME2 file I started on Insanity, but grew tired of it and went to casual, and stayed at that throughout the second play through.



And I have the No One Left Behind achievement now, had to do some switching up with who I sent as the escort ;P

then either you finish second ME2 playthrough and import again or finish the ME1 save file then import to ME2 and finish once either way you get achievement read the long service medal description self explainatory

I know how to get the achievement, the purpose of this post was to get any information on whether I had done something incorrect of if this was a confirmed glitch.

its not a glitch you just got to do a new campaign over again hope I helped sorry if I didn't
