You have got to be kidding me!! A plain black sleeveless leather minidress with cheap black pumps???? Shep was THE only female wearing a short dress at a formal party where every other female wore a long dress, and/or formal gloves. No one showed as much skin as FemShep. BioWare, seriously.....You at least, could have added above the elbow gloves, a tiara, open toed wedge heels, a mini beaded jacket or ANY additional thing to dress the outfit up if you really didn't want female Shep to wear a long dress. What is with the "trailer trash, biker" outfits (Thane, Jack and now FemShep) design kick you all are on??? Shep looked so out of place, it was embarrasing. Bet if I investigate male Shep, I'd see him in a tux, looking awesome, sexy and confident. (I just finished the DLC & was so disappointed in FemShep outfit, I had to save the game and post this immediately!) Fem Shep in a long leather dress with an open back and above the elbow gloves would have made her "blend in" more and demonstrate power and self confidence (like one of the females looking at the artwork), instead of awkard, out of place and sexless. I still can't believe that I have to keep that "tacky" piece of crap in my inventory!!!
Opinion of new outfit for FemShep from Kasumi DLC

All ManShep gets is a retexture of the Cerberus uniform so most ManShep players are the ones feeling shafted on this.

IMO bioware should REALLY have used a female actor for the motion capture data
that is all.
that is all.

I would rather have had that same "retextured" version of one of the Cerberus unis than that tacky leather thing........ (by the way, still love the hair, can't get it for my FemShep w/o deleting alot of code in the game)

The animations make it look worse than anything else, though I agree that it is a tad out of place at that party (the equivalent of a military-inspired tux is an above-the-knee leather-esque LBD? Uh, okay...).

I like it, simple.

There's one dress model I always love that I wish we'd had... one of the guests at the party had a particularly beautiful version of it, in black shifting into a brilliant blue at the hem. It's that one similar to Shaira's acolytes, the short sleeved one with various open parts and a long skirt.

Simple, uh huh.... Simply tacky, out of place and in poor taste. Simple can be sexy - a long dress like all the other females were wearing, is just as "simple", but sexy!! And, not a fashionista, just don't have that "got it at the biker Goodwill store, threw it together for DLC" mentality. I'm a "brought back from the dead, genetically remodeled, tech enhanced, prothean info in my head, upgraded, more than human, commander. I have superior equipment and deserve more than a "simple" short tacky black dress. I'm just saying..............

I agree w\\you UsagiVindaloo - That's the dress I was referencing, it is a great one. AND to others - one can still kick, jump leap, and whatever else other folks have mentioned previously..in a long dress. Wear one folks, you'll see what I mean (Yes, in real life, I have fired a weapon and leapt over barriers in a floor length gown)......

Don't you know thats sex sells?! You should seriously consider lowering your expectations... I mean look at what your own squamates wear for goodness sakes! No person in their right mind would wear a string across their chest (like Jack) or high heel boots (like Miranda).... Bioware's main target audience is men, thus scantily clad women and big explosions is what appeals the most to their target audience.
But I do agree with you.. It's kind of ridiculous a well respected commander would be wearing such a sleazy dress... But we can only hope for and expect so much.

Kicking, leaping and running actually would be really difficult in the dress Femshep is wearing, just saying. Would be far easier with a long skirt.

Cyvian - You are correct, it would be difficult in to do all that in a LBD. AND, Mrs Vakarian is right also. One could kick, leap and run in a LBD - showing off a lof of crotch, so I guess we should be glad they didn't have FemShep wearing a thong for God's sake, since sex does sell. Wonder what C Norman thinks about the whole thing????

That FemShep players would be "very happy".

To be fair, there actually is very little of that while Shep is wearing her dress. At most, you pull out your sidearm and pop a couple of caps -- if you don't have any biotics or tech powers, that is.

I think I would have liked my femshep's dress more if she didn't walk like a truck driver while she was wearing it.
When Kasumi told her she should wear this type of outfit more often I wanted to respond, "Right, because black leather is just great at protecting you from gunfire." Then again, that dress does have more fabric than Jack's default outfit so it's probably not the worst thing she could wear.

I thought it was perfect! Looked great on my femshep, just wish she walked a little less like a man...wow someone else said it too. ha. seriously though its super bad. Was fine in ME1, but ugh, I am so a dude in ME2, wtf?
I wish the dress had been longer maybe, more formal, but I loved the necklace.

What's most awesome about the new femshep outfit is that immediately after finishing the suicide mission she's walking around the Normandy in it again. That closing scene where she's inspecting the crew and meets up with Joker is made hilarious because she's wearing that outfit.

So of all the things in this DLC, people are complaining about a single piece of clothing?
Interesting.

I did like the dress.
Not so crazy about the shoes however.
But then again, I've never liked high heels.
Flats are the way to go.
It was a pity I couldn't take the dress to go dancing on the Citadel or Omega (because the armor overrode it).
