Don't you know thats sex sells?! You should seriously consider lowering your expectations... I mean look at what your own squamates wear for goodness sakes! No person in their right mind would wear a string across their chest (like Jack) or high heel boots (like Miranda).... Bioware's main target audience is men, thus scantily clad women and big explosions is what appeals the most to their target audience.

But I do agree with you.. It's kind of ridiculous a well respected commander would be wearing such a sleazy dress... But we can only hope for and expect so much.

Fcuk how is that sleazy.... >.<

I was constantly wondering how the hell she would hide a pistol in that thing.

Admittedly, it wouldn't completely surprise me if they opted to go for such a short dress because the engine overall lacks cloth physics(I think), and a longer one could cause clipping.

Well she is going undercover as a sleaze ball so why not dress like one?

Agreed. It didn't seem age appropriate. Shepard maybe hot and look young, but she's not 21 year old going clubbing. It was a formal event and she's suppose to have the maturity of a 31 year old with the reconstructed body of a 29 year old... They need women to help the game designers with the clothing...

True, but then again my Shepard, at the very least, was a military brat, so I interpreted the way she walked in that thing as her being unconfortable in it, both in terms of not being use to wearing formal wear and not being use to being in formal situations.

My $.02, feel free to ignore it.

Kicking, leaping and running actually
would be really difficult in the dress Femshep is wearing, just saying.
Would be far easier with a long skirt.

I don't know, considering that you can look at any female character's hair and see that it is completely unmoving because it was never animated I kind of have to think that a similar issue involving not wanting to animate moving fabric may be the reason that the dress wasn't particuarly long.

Sleazy? I didn't think it was sleazy. I mean at least she wasn't wearing one of those outfits that the dancers in Afterlife wear.

I think the overall design was ok. Could have used those elbow glove things the others were wearing. The shoes did not look right. I don't mind pumps but they didn't even really look like they were drawn right.

I think the dress is fine. I'm a little surprised that people found it to be sleazy. If there is anything worth complaining about it's the walking animation.

I loved the dress, femine and sexy, my Shepard likes that kind of outfit, there was too much tomboyishiness for femshepard then we needed to counteract it a bit. Shame she was still running about like she was away to blow **** up at a formal party, it's kind of a big giveaway if the other guests weren't stupid.

I agree, it looked awkward because Shepard wasn't used to wearing formal attire, a feeling which I also got from the conversation with Kasumi about the dress, especially the somewhat teasing "you should wear stuff like this more often". Anyway the walking like a guy thing made the whole infiltration part hilarious, since I saw it as Shepard trying desperately to blend in but failing, ending up with her being incredibly grateful to get her armor back.

I also applaud Bioware for making her look like someone who could beat you up if she had to. I've heard complaints about her muscular arms and shoulders, people pronouncing them too butch, but they seem to forget that Shepard's a soldier first and foremost, and it's appropriate to have her physical appearence reflect that.

Ok... So the dress is growing on me... Granted I don't think it's appropriate for Shepard, but if she wants to go have some fun at a bar then why the hell not? I've seen pictures of it and I thought it was lame, but I played the mission today, and somehow my Shepard seems to pull it off remarkably well. So I like it... But I still would like to see a more formal and elegant dress, as well as some help for Shepard on learning to walk more gracefully in heels XD

My question to you all, is where'd she hide the gun? =P

I like to see a mission done in a bikini, just to see what they say, it's hilarious.

If Femshep gets a bikini then Dudeshep has to parade around in a speedo. I demand parity.

NO! He should parade in a bright lime green mankini! I'll play as a male, just to see that!

YES. Have a DLC mission where Shep goes undercover in some beach resort at a popular vacation planet where she has to wear a bikini to blend in. Image IPB

I would be happy with that, if the male shipmates also had to go undercover Image IPB

Or she has to go undercover in a strip joint, now that would be sleazy!
