And they should've found a voice for fem shep that sounded less like a bull ******.Amethyst Deceiver wrote...
IMO bioware should REALLY have used a female actor for the motion capture data
that is all.

I don't think they considered how FemShep sits on that crate while talking to him when they designed that dress. (creepy)

So, thumbs up for not cutting corners.
As for fashion, I have no idea.

I've never seen it. Any pics?

Looking at it again, I still think the length is fine and compared to the longer dresses with the middrift cut outs, I think this one looks much better.

In other words: y'all a bunch o prudes!

I think the new outfit looks gorgeous! I never would have thought people would call it unclassy.
Indeed. The Little Black Dress never gets old.

Why should you dress the same way as everyone else?

Hell, you guys always find something to complain about, right?
I liked the dress a lot. My FemShep looked good in it.
This. The dress looked fine. And I didn't equate it to leather at all. Not only would a leather dress like that be incredibly heavy it would also be hot as hell (no pun intended) and it's 2158, I'd think we'd have found a suitable alternative to leather by then.
I liked how Shep looked different than all the other clones at the party.

yes there could of been thousands of other pretty designs or necklaces or shoes, but she still looks damn fine.

As for walking, one can't get rid of the limp, but yes, for all that Shepard is the proverbial fish out of the water here and "what?-this-is-how-I-always-walk", it does look a bit odd to see her set her heels down hard first, when wearing horrible foot-killer things and why hold her arms out to her sides, when there is not lots of bulky armor, forcing her to. (That said, I wouldn't mind seing a bit more muscle tone yet, on somebody who flicks huge concrete pillars aside like so much styrofoam, nano-tech augmentation and powered suits notwithstanding.)
All in all; don't mind the lack of custom animations just for this scenario - heck, I even found the slouching posture of every human female in Me1 kind of nice, in a navy-is-slack-in-the-future way.

Unfortunately, while cute and sexy, the dress didn't quite read "formal wear" to me. The developers in the art department need to watch them some Project Runway : for next time. P
Then again, I rationalized that "Alison Gunn", wouldn't be playing to her type as a b.a. lady if she showed up in an evening gown like every other woman, because she'd stand out more if slightly inappropriately dressed. Of course, that got me to wondering why "master planner" Kasumi was wearing her normal outfit, instead of evening wear herself--no wonder she got turned away at the door. She goes on and on about a dress code, and is wearing that cheap knock-off Quarian enviro- Suit? Not only was it SO last season, it had "I'm expecting a fight" written all over it.

Yeeeah, she stuck out like a sore thumb. That bit was kind of silly to me.

That made me laugh.
The paranoid Bond villian doesn't want a suspicious looking hooded woman in his party? I AM SHOCKED.

I would have liked Femshep to wear something like this.
Oh well, maybe at the next party DLC.
Good god, no. The last thing I wanted was one more set of pants for my femShep. I would say more about that outfit, but... *shakes head* Long dress would have been awesome, as I love those, too, but it needed to be informal enough to wear around the ship and not look too silly. Or something.
Besides, how could one of the NPCs make disparaging remarks about the type of people invited just as you walk by if you were all fancy shmancy? I wanted to crack my knuckles in her face.
