It's also worth repeating.

Also I did like Msheps outfit but yeah it was just a retexture of what he already had in his wardrobe though given men's attire I doubt much could've been done anyway.
Also Fshep was not the least dressed did you noticed the girls with very little back they where in consort like clothing I'm sorry everytime I see these girls in the galaxy my mind screams STRIPPERS! I mean the girls at Cora's Den are more dressed then these girls! Please BW get rid of the on the street consort look! I’m waiting for these girls to ask my shep if he/she wants a fun time please give them clothing!

Can't dropkick people in a long dress?
I think it it had slits up the side you could. In theory. Maybe. I like the idea of the simple black dress, but this one - not so much.

Good point PrinceL - I guess everyone feels some negativity. I saw the maleShep outfit, that so sucks............Having another dress outfit option for maleShep would've solved that too, I guess. TIM outfit would have looked great on maleShep..........
I can agree though, something more "refined" would've suited FemShep as well.I think Bioware went overboard in trying to finally give a FemShep a feminine outfit.

I hate that dress too, it looks awful. A nice, stylist long dress would've been more elegant.
Realistically, do you know how difficult it would be to move in a long dress? They are generally not designed for swift mobility. Of course we all know while practicality may hold sway, the primary reason behind that design was fanservice. I am look at Miranda.

Gotta agree with the 'fanservice" -but will add, male, fanservice. As a female, I think her outfit is amusing. Even if I did have that bod, wouldn't wear that outfit, and absolutely, wouldn't add heels to it to fight!! LOVE when Captain R says to her, "I was just waiting for you to get dressed....." TOTALLY a guy thing..........imo

Mangalores - yeah, wonder why the motion caps made Shep look weird in heels, but Miranda and Samara look normal in theirs. Is it a "boot" thing????

What looks like a cool walk in armor then looks a bit out of place in a flimsy minidress.

I would have liked Femshep to wear something like this.
Oh well, maybe at the next party DLC.
Something closer to that would fit Shep and the "Allison Gunn" character she was portraying far more than the LBD.
Not that I think the LBD was sleezy. The camera angles straight across her chest was sleezy, but not the LBD itself.

I personally liked Manshep's Bruce Lee outfit for Kasumi's loyalty mission.
Same here.

I quite like the dress, female shepard would have a really hard time fighting and moving in combat with a long dress. I also don't have a problem with her wearing heels, though I do have a problem with the way she walks.
The idea was to be covert here, they had the armor for the plan where fighting takes place anyhow so having the dress with that in mind seems a bit redundant.

Uh, Shepard didn't know how long it will take for them to get to the armor. For all she knew, the statue could have been in an underground garage with ten different lock mechanisms before it ever hit the vault.

Yes, Miranda's backside is addressed in multiple forums, and then there are others for the rest of her uniform:)

Forums? Miranda's derriere has become so legendary, it has its own meme in the form of "DAT ASS." Personally, I preferred the customizable gear from the first game. If Miranda wants to **** around (thanks for that Elora!) on the Normandy, more power to her. In missions, I would fancy armor and something more than a cup strapped to her face.
Speaking of Captain Elora and that scene. If you bring Jack, Miranda is mocked even more.

I believe it has to do with Shepard having a universal avatar for all scenes, regardless of clothing or gender. This is quite apparent is the movement animation and the ever so infamous flash scenes Femshep gives. That being said, if I recall the heels were relatively small, thus I cannot imagine it would be much of a hindrance in a firefight. Worse case scenario, she simply ditches them. Barefoot is easy to move in if need be.

Another question -- on the LBD, where was Shep keeping the pistol?
In her chest obviously. It is the secret female pocket.
Or perhaps Femshep chose her dress because it was one of those elusive female garments with plentiful pocket space. Mystery solved!

Most likely her pistol is strapped to the inside of her thigh (ever see Miss Congeniality?). Now you know why she has that manly walk.
