There were one to many ass shots. Not complaining... but kinda distracting though.

I don't think you got the joke lol. That's the main reason why I posted the pic. ;)

I hate that dress too, it looks awful. A nice, stylist long dress would've been more elegant.

Realistically, do you know how difficult it would be to move in a long dress? They are generally not designed for swift mobility. Of course we all know while practicality may hold sway, the primary reason behind that design was fanservice. I am look at Miranda.

While I thought the dress looked alright, I do find Miranda's get up to be ridiculous.  I bought the AA pack so she would have the armor instead of the cat suit.  At least it can absorb some incoming weapons fire.

Now that I've finished DA II, I think FemShep needs FemHawke's walk & run anime/graphics. BW made Hawke look more feminine, she runs, walks, climbs and stands like a girl now, not just a "butch" female upgrade from MaleHawke. BUT, still woulda looked silly in the stupid LBD, as an undercover, anyway. imo..........or, imao, I should say............

LOL there's no pleasing some people. As a female player, I'm fine with it. The only complain was her sitting animation while she was talking with Garrus.

Perhaps they will give more variations for the dresses in the future or just remove the whole thing entirely. who knows.

Good point, that Garrus scene, still priceless.............Gets as many hits as Miranda's ass in the elevator..........

I agree about preferences, I was just seeking consistency. Like, in Legally Blonde, when they tricked Elle into showing up in a costume at a non costume party? Kinda like how I felt FemShep looked....came to a party in a costume. At least MaleShep kinda "blended"...Ah well, food for thought, yes????

Indeed, if you're not going to change her walk animation, you could give her a really nice pants-based outfit, with, like, a corset on top. It's the future. Pants+corset can be in fashion!

I hope they don't change her walking/movement animations. I like her just as she is. >.>

As for the dress... it seemed a little odd looking on her. I think a pant suit or some such thing would have suited her more. But I think that' my personal taste coming into it.

I like it. It seems very appropriate for Hock's party although it does feel very odd to wear it on the Normandy ( even though I always do ), I feel over-dressed. I don't like the white pouches around the calfs on the default casual outfit ( not to mention the Cerebus logos ) and in my opinion all the other casual outfits suck.

The Angry One wrote...

All ManShep gets is a retexture of the Cerberus uniform so most ManShep players are the ones feeling shafted on this.

Very true, for male Shepard I stick with the default casual outfit even though I still have issues with white pouches around the calfs. Female Shepard get's a brand new original outfit, male shpeard gets a palette swap clothing otpion of his Cerebus formal wear.

Jesus ****ing christ! What's up with most people on this forum and "revealing" outfits? It's a video game, get a grip. People take things way too seriously, and making everything realistic (in some people's opinions) would take the fun out of it. Hell, why not give her combat boots and a cap? At least then she would fit her animations.

I thought she was really pretty to be honest. I wanted a dress like that. something sleek that wasnt too short. At least she looked better than the male shep. his outfit was boring as hell. He should have gotten a legitimate tuxedo.

The outfit was alright.

However femsheps animations (them being shared with maleshep) just didn't work with the dress at all.

Raizo-You know about the available free downloads (in projects forums) that remove Cerberus logos? AND, add new outfits too, if ya want? I feel overdressed when wearing that dress in green& white or purple&white. (I hadda mod it, 'cause just so awful...)

And, imao, my FemShep is pretty all the time...........but that's not the issue, she doesn't wanna stand out at parties, or in any situation really, especially during Undercover Ops, where blending in is priority....

I kinda liked the way FemHawke moved in DAII, so if they wanted to make FemShep walk less "butch" in ME3, they already have the program-I'm just saying...........

Again, I think folks would pay for alternate outfits for male or female Shep. I would, more so than for the other squad members, imo

It was REALLY awkward for FemShep to wear anything sexy with LI night before Omega relay....she showed up in the hold, after the Reaper fight, walking amongst the busted up equipment, fires and crew in that same sexy, but so not appropriate for "ship repairs" outfit.......Image IPB

...I'm missing the point of the OP. A minidress that's still less revealing than 80% of the clothing worn by female videogame protagonists, and it's pretty standard fare in the real world, too. So, uh, what exactly is wrong with it?

That's not the outfit's fault. That's the fault of whoever decided all of the same animations for MaleShep would suffice for FemShep at all times as well.

Nice to wear to Hock's party, but it just seems silly to walk around the Normandy wearing a designers dress. I'm also a bit concerned that Bioware will take the demand for more feminine animations to mean, "Make femShep more cutesy or more sexually promiscuous".

Be careful what you wish for, guys. And be more specific when you make a criticism about the game.

And why don't reuse sitting pose from the end of LotSB? At least there femShep sits in a way most ladies found comfortable.
My biggest problem with this outfit, however, is shoes.

For the same reasons they couldn't be bothered with making four eyed helmets for the Batarians, lazyness and rushing.

You people will complain about anything. Also a Tiara? Seriously? I can't even begin to analyze the amount of personality disorders that would lead to a woman wearing a tiara to a party. Suffice it to say if you ever see some random chick at a party in a tiara. Run.

It was fanservice, plain and simple, for all the people who wanted Shep to run around in a tacky little dress on the Normandy for some reason.

The dress itself I quite like but imo it doesn't fit in with the ME universe where all we've seen women wearing is trousers or long dresses.
FemShep looked odd and out of place where for plot reasons she should have been blending in. If the dress had been ankle length it would have been perfect. Unique to Shepard but still in keeping with ME's look and even better no weird Sharon Stone moments.
