I would hate it if they changed Shepard's walk to the LadyHawke walk. FemShep's walk has been established now, to me its part of her personality. Hawke's walk was a bit too girly, it was one step away from Vanille (FFXIII). I got used to Hawke's walk, it ended up suiting her because I'd chose girly hair and make-up for her too. But I've never thought of Shepard as girly, I imagine if given the choice she'd have wore a suit but Kasumi made her wear the dress.
As for the dress, I liked it but it didn't really match the style of ME. Long, tight dresses seem to be in fashion which can look just as sexy. Miranda is completely covered up but still manages to show off her assets. If Shepard gets another dress in ME3 they should add a scene where Kasumi/Liara teach her how to walk in heels and Shep gets mad because she's rubbish at it.

I'm fine with the walk, but I'd prefer less violent head-bobbing from both Shepards.

That's not the outfit's fault. That's the fault of whoever decided all of the same animations for MaleShep would suffice for FemShep at all times as well.

And why don't reuse sitting pose from the end of LotSB? At least there femShep sits in a way most ladies found comfortable.
My biggest problem with this outfit, however, is shoes.

Your biggest problem is the thing that matters not a whit.

Well, that's just fantasmic.

I'd like to know where she hid the gun.

Not a bad design overall, stockings would have been appropriate considering the party she was attending.

The dress made me feel very exposed which I guess was the point but she still got to carry a gun not being allowed to have one would've made me paranoid on top of that. But I wish BW would've let us choose from various styles not all people think fshep would look great in that dress for one reason or another.

If they do shep has to wear a dress or shep can wear a dress she should get classic, club like, and sexy type of long, medium, and short style dresses with cleavage or no cleavage types and I suppose a back or no back showing types as well not every girl thinks one dress is the best you know?

When girls get dressed there is a reason why we go through our whole closet of dresses and then yell I've got nothing to wear! It's not because we enjoy taking our closet out to our beds its because the dresses we have aren't fitting into the place we're going and each girl thinks a different style for them when they think of the event.

For instace going to a funeral some girls wear black dresses in a variety of lengths, some where brightly colored mini skirts, and some girls wear pants. They're all going to the funeral but they sure aren't dressing alike.

If shep gets dresses offered as a choice of clothing I would like some actual choices maybe even give us the design and then allow us to color it ourselves like we did with the armor in ME2 sure now I’m sounding all girly here but if I want shep to be in a long Benezia styled dress that is blue cameo then damn it I should be able to do it!

Oh and while we’re on the subject of her dress please BW close her legs when she sits in a dress! If she wants to go all sailor in pants fine but not in a dress! Unless my shep has started to pimp herself out to pay for the unfunded ship keep them closed! You may have to make two codes for her when walking walk like she did in ME when she sits in a dress a casual leg closed is fine. When she’s in pants move like ME fshep did when she sits she could sit like she did in ME or in ME2 I don’t care.

I like how they are objectifying her as a trashy sex machine ;)

Intriguing responses over last few pages.
NathanRedgrave - "pretty standard fare in the real world, too". Wow, where do you live or work that girls wear short little dresses, black or not, as a standard??? That's actually not the standard that I've seen, in 9 states, in most professions, at work anyway. Parties & socially, different story, but no one has concealed a weapon, nor stood out as that obvious as FemShep did.......

Mr.MannlyMan - I doubt BW will take the "request" (not a demand) for more feminine anime to mean "....more cutesy or more sexually promiscuous", as we cited specifics (close open legs when sitting, and more like FemHawke), but good point nonetheless.

Rojahar - "....Fanservice", Perhaps....."Tacky little dress", ABSOLUTELY agree!!!!

SerBard - Totally agree, didn't fit in MEverse at all

Sarcastic Tasha - interesting comments. Neither my FemShep nor my FemHawke is "girly", despite FemHawke's walk. I wouldn't want Miranda, Liara or even Samara to teach my FemShep anything to do with heels, as they wear them into combat, and that is sooooo absurd, it borders on hysterical. Who fights in heels? Really???? I mean, I might as well combine those heels with the thong that Diablo made females wear, for God's sake.

Destroy Raiden - I agree with the individual choices in dressing for different events, however - If you were invited to a "formal" party (which means long to floor length dresses for girls), and you knew you had to conceal a weapon, would you really choose a short little dress, black, leather or otherwise??? I wouldn't....long dress with slits would allow for kick ass movement, I"d look "hot" , fit in, and could conceal a serious weapon under it. I"ve done it in rl, at both paint ball and laser shot parties. It works, LOL

I liked the dress - the shoes were terrible though. Should have been red with a higher heel. ... But it would have been nice to have a different hairstyle for the evening.

Wore the dress for Samara's loyalty quest - big mistake. In the apartment scene, femShep sits like a man, with her ankle over one knee. (Sheesh. Was she raised in a barn?)

I didn't like the dress or the shoes, I think it would have been better if she was wearing boots like Miranda with the shorter dress, but Fem/shep did look out of place and she ran like a football player, so the dress didn't really fit her personality or movements very well, its different when shes wearing armor but in a dress she moves like a man. I think she would have looked better in a pants suit, shes suppose to be the leader of a small band of mercs (her cover), so the dress didn't really fit well with that either, she looked more like a prostitute than a merc leader, the dress was not elegant or classy, and I didn't consider it sexy at all, very disappointing. The outfit would have fit in better at a nightclub not an exclusive party for thieves and murders.
Male/Shep's outfit wasn't to bad, although he sort-of looked out of place as well, I think he was the only one wearing a black and white tux style outfit.

Actually, there was an option at one point in the DLC to climb along an outside balcony. A long dress wouldn't cut it. A pants suit would have been a good compromise.

There were a couple of ways you could get into the bad guy's bedroom for the DNA sample.

You could con the guard into letting you in (that involved Kasumi pretending to be his boss over the radio) or you could climb out from the balcony to his bedroom, kill the guards outside, and break a window to get in.

Either way got you to the same point.  Image IPB

Well, there are other ways as well, but they don't involve the Kasumi DLC. Image IPB
