While I applaud the inclusion of the "Tactics" element in Dragon Age, I do wish it had received a bit more attention in development.  Here's my primary issue - there is no distinction between evaluating the current target versus seeking out a specific target - in wargames (TacOps etc...) you usually have a targeting priority and a firing priority - that is what would do wonders for Dragon Age.

Example: I have a rogue fighter set to target whatever my tank is attacking, and the tank is set to target nearest visible.  I would like to have the ability to assign specific attacks for the rogue based on the current selected target - but the way the tactics currently work, any target qualifier turns into a targeting priority - which is exactly not what I want.

So, theoretically, under condition we would see "Enemy>Seek Target...." and then the standard enemy branches, and for action, an option saying "Make Active Target"

A second change would add another condiction "Enemy>Current Target...." and then standard enemy branches, with the associated actions being the standard action items we have now (various talent usages).

This would allow players to then control both what is targeted, and subsequently script attacks/actions based on what the current target is.  This would make me very happy.

To anyone's knowledge is there a mod that addresses this issue?  I highly doubt Bioware will do any updates to the Tactics, but I can always hope some motivated modder with spare time can deliver the goods.
