As a semi-miltary rpg, i just feel high heels etc dont have a place on the battlefield. I dont care what they wear on the normandy, im just asking that they receive some sort of armor when you go on a mission, aka liara in ME1.
Please, Bioware, no more high-heels!!

why the hell should anything be realistic and millitary like. That's boring. People like adventure, impossibly hot girls, and action. High heels are awesome, or would you rather see girls fighting in 30 layers of armour?

Fighting in 30 layers of armor? Yes. Sitting in the normandy with the same armor on? No.

Would make more sense if they went back to the way it was in ME1 civilian clothing on the normandy actual armor off.
I suppose that makes too much sense. <_<

Agreed, and is in my ME3 suggestion blog. They did it for ME1, why not for ME2? It just doesn't make sense for Miranda to run around in her skin-suit in combat or for Jacob to wander around the Normany in full body armour.stefanbw wrote...

Yeah, it's not pointless. But youd' have to say that to almost every squad mate, even Tali with her quarrian suit. It's not an armor, no matter how much people argue. I think Bioware went for art>realism. I can understand them, and didn't mind the stupidity of it at all. It WAS stupid and unrealistic, more yet if you think about ME1 and how Liara used an armor. But I ended up never thinking about it. And if you take Gameplay implications as you don't equip any kind of armor in them, it makes more sense.James 091 wrote...

I want Bioware to break their heads thinking about a way to keep art style of characters of ME2 and some armor customization at Shepard's level for squad in ME3. They could use accessories, armor pieces, different clothing/suits, whatever. Armor/suit parts exclusives to each character based on their looks, race culture, powers and job/class.

well women have been fighting in action /sci-fi genre's with high heels for a long time now. . . sheesh i could name a list of female heroines that fought/fight in high heels

None of them were actual real women, though. They were imagined and written by men and meant to sexually appeal to men.
Why do you think marines don't go on patrols in Afghanistan in stillettos?

You're worried about realism in a game where people can phase and warp around on the battlefield and throw people around in their arms.
You're upset about a plastic mask but you don't know how effective it is. Remember cerberus have high tech and are not limited to standard issue crap that the alliance soilders get. Suspend your disbelief...

However, I think it works well for Samara. Biotic paragon, so on so forth. High heels should be of minimal concern to her when she can rip steel walls in two with her mind.
I would have thrown the game disc across the room if female Shepard's hardsuit had high heeled boots.

Its personal preference of how 'realistic' you wanna go...

This was probably the only downside i found in me2. Hope they fix this in me3 and give everybody a real armor when fighting that can be stylized like shepard.

All I want I want is the rest of the squad to follow Shepard's example- armor and casual outfits are worn were appropriate.

Exactly. I like Miranda's outfits as much as anyone else, but it ruins the suspension of disbelief when she's running around like that during a firefight in a vacuum.

High five!
Look guys, high heels are for dressy occasions. No one is complaining about the little black dress for Kasumi's loyalty mission-- I loved that section where my character is running around with her pistol in heels. It's all about context. Self same dress on wouldn't be my first choice for boarding a Reaper. One of the things I've liked about Bioware games is the fact that the female characters aren't sexed up beyond belief. Even the plunging necklines of the DA armours are sensible compared to the usual chainmail bikinis. I think you can be tough and sexy at the same time-- but the bimbo look doesn't cut it.
That said, I get why Miranda wears the cat suit, at least when she's not in combat. She as much as says she uses her looks for advantage. There are definitely women like that, and most have her personality type, too.
