High heels make just standing and walking so precarious and tiring you would have to be completely insane to wear them in combat. You can’t focus when your feet are killing you.
Its basically saying that it’s more important to show men you’re willing to please them at your own expense than to be able to move easily or comfortably even when your life may depend on it.

this is a godamn Sci Fi RPG

why the hell should anything be realistic and millitary like. That's boring. People like adventure, impossibly hot girls, and action. High heels are awesome, or would you rather see girls fighting in 30 layers of armour?

High heels are awesome. On human females. In casual circumstances.

But is scietific fact, that in combat it's better to be alive, than hot. And "realism" is not about matematical proof of every polygon on Miranda's model. It's about believability of her surviving in vacuum.

Seeing women involved in combat and running around, with high heels, makes my feet and ankles hurt.

I mean, there's a slick, cool look to it, but from personal experience there is just no way. Give them some boots or at least some sneakers. I'd also like to throw in tops that would normally fling off/open and unfitted bras that offer absolutely no support at all, thus defeating the whole purpose of a bra. Both of these can be just as problematic as high heels.

How about Bioware allows players to customize their squadmates appearance a little bit? That would make everyone happy:

*People who don't like seeing her in high-heels can put boots on her
*People who don't like seeing her in boots can put high-heels on her

Problem solved. Everyone is then happy. Personally, I really like the way Miranda looks, and I don't want Bioware to change her. However if OTHER people are given the option of changing it for themselves personally when playing in their game, that would be ok... just as long as I don't have to have her appearance changed in my game.

No, that's too tedious for our little kiddie brains.
