I play renegade because I HATE THE COUNCIL (but I keep them around, because I love to hate them) and I play paragon, because it's just the right thing to do.

Oh, just thought I'd say I usually play as a paragon, because every time I play renegade and yell at someone for no reason I feel like an ass. I know you don't have to, but paragon is what I'm best at.

My canon Shep is about 50:50 because he's me, so he's loyal to his friends but doesn't take anyone else's bull.



Full-on Renegade is fun. My next playthrough will be full-on Paragon. I'm hoping it'll make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I usually pick the renegade conversation option, but when it comes to people I genuinely care about in-game, or big moral decisions, I'm always a paragon.



Basically a hardass who wusses out when it comes to the big stuff.

Paragade, but with a Renegade streak.

I could ramble off more Drow sayings, but nah.

I did the "nice" thing in ME1 and saved the Council... Wanted to personally kill their children in ME2. But, in general... I'm racist. If it involves quarians, turians, asari, or krogan, I'm all "Aww! Give meh a hug!". Anything else is... "Bleh. Get to the point or GTFO with this crap."

All Paragon/Renegade is annoying imo... Renegade comes off as "Chaotic Stupid," and Paragon is waaaaay too rainbow-farting unicorn hero for me.

Me, Kasumi, and Jack roll around the galaxy giving quarians hugs, and LOLing at volus getting owned.

To quote Jack...

"That was mean. But damn funny!"

The problem with this is that the Paragon options aren't always about doing good, in ME1 it often means crawling up the Council's collective rear end after you and your friends have just risked your lives and taken a beating on their behalf and they're getting in your face because they don't like the way you did it. Those are the moments I choose the Renegade options because eff you, Mr. Airquotes, you can go save the galaxy yourself if you don't like the way I do things.

Im mostly Paragon because thats how I would have handled things in RL. Occasionally, I pull a renegade maneuver or choice, because thats how I actually feel and react to that particular situation.



On other (second, third) play throughs I usually go all renegade just to see what happens. Sometimes I enjoy it more. Depends.



I guess more than anything Im a nice guy though in RL, and try to be for the most part in the game too. Give or take a little. Like I said, I sometimes make renegade choices as well. But mostly paragon on the first playthrough, but thats because I dont pay any attention to Paragon or Renegade at first. I just play the way I feel.
