I'd say a good attacker and defender for sure. You definitely could do some good tanking with your mage with these abilities. Arcane warrior can wear massive armor when magic is high enough as well as wielding swords for damage once mana runs low. Spirit healer can revive, heal and rejuvenate allies. Keeper, is an interesting one, this is a great spec if you are tanking, the first two abilities called "one with nature" as well as "thornblades" are great abilities once you have picked your spot to attack/defend, once you have then unleash these two abilities in succession starting with "one with nature" first, with a strong mage, I find it deals some pretty good damage and offers decent protection. I haven't experienced the fourth ability "nature's vengeance" but based on what I've read it seems to be pretty good at immobilizing enemies while damaging them.

Natures Vengeance sounds like that aoe skill Root that the Sylvans do in the Brecellian Forest if I am not mistaken.

The Keeper is a strong specialization but its spells immobilize your character and therefore it doesn't fit very well with the Arcane Warrior who is a versatile combatant moving around the battlefield and using spell and sword as needed.

I think that Battlemage would be a better option as a third specialization for an Arcane Warrior/Spirit Healer provided you have the best mana regeneration gear and talents.

I believe that Battlemage would fit a bit better. Besides, then you could say your truly a battlemage, because you can get real up close using Arcane Warrior to deal damage, you have the Battlemage spec for the up-close stuff, and Spirit Healer is there should you need to become a mobile health dispenser.

Basically, the OP's spec is for immobile, armored "magic turret". Not a bad idea actually if you are OK with hanging out in the back row buffing, debuffing and blasting.

Don't bother with Shimmering Shield, never turn on the active portion of Combat Magic, put on your best -%Fatigue armor and go to it. Not exactly the exciting up-in-yer-face mage, but a pretty good mage nevertheless. If you want more offensive potential, take Blood Mage instead of Spirit Healer. After all, if your enemy is dead or immobilized, he can't hurt you or your party.

Hey guys im level 26 now and here our my stats with these four buffs:Spell Wisp, Rock Armor, Combat Magic with both passives, Arcane Shield with Fade Shield Passive. 90 Defenense, 48 Armor, and 66 Spell Power using Sword and Shield with mix of medium to massive armor my mana with those 4 boths actived is still maxed at 590 stacked willpower like crazy lol but my magic is 63 and willpower 85 including gear bonuses. My strat is basiclly Run in and tank the **** outta them throwing up some Winter Grasps and Shocks along with Waking Nightmire and Crushing Prison. Then Group Heal when needed or single hea and if party member drops rezz umm. Also When i charge in if i get the aggro of 3-4+ guys ill pop One with Nature then use Thornblades and Cleansing Aura so my party gets healed plus enemy gets hurt and knocked back. Ty everyone for responding to the thread now im off to last battle wish me luck. O and tell me what you think of my play style here if ya like.

If you find your playstyle amusing, then we have nothing more to add. this is a single player game after all.

Indeed. If its fun for you then that's all that matters. This game is so easy you can take a completely gimped build and make it work.

I went Blood Mage, Battlemage, Arcane Warrior and I was literally invincible.
