i would accept that only in ME3 and if it didnt go on the main storyline
my thought was two N7 operatives/spectres (or maybe being like a turian or krogan or whatever) that were you and your buddy (can be solo, split scree or online via xbox live/internet people online thingy) doing hard missions. it could be like the two of you doing things by yourself, commanding different squads, supporting a diversion, etc against a lot of enemies since there willl be two good people instead of one
thats my thought, and the "choose your speciees" thing would be something a lot of people like

As far as dlc in general is concerned, I'd rather like a real addon with 15-20 hours of stry and gameplay. Don't get me wrong, Kasumi was a pretty cool dlc IMO but all these half integrated peaces just don't cut it.

No coop! If they continue to make ME games after ME3, than by all means, go ahead but it just doesn't make sense for the Shepard trilogy. Most importantly, I'd rather want them to concentrate on the narrative and the single player experience. These things always suffer from the time and gameplay mechanics demands of a multilayer mode. So please don't.

what about what i said?
the missions could just be random missions you do that have no storyline, or have a really weak storyline
could be like spec ops in MW2, just better

If you want a co-op 3rd person shooter go play "Gears Of War" or "Lost Planet 2".

No story? Then it wouldn't really be Mass Effect then would it?

i meant for co-op. but you dont have to be random people, you could be your shepard and your like secret family member who is also a spectre, or maybe another spectre
the only reason for not that good story is so they could focus on ME3 more
btw, only good with ME3. i dont want DLC for it

I like the idea of Co-op in ME because you're going to be with two other squad mates anyway. Why not have a buddy take over Grunt of Miranda? For ME3 it would be cool.

No, Id rather have bioware focus on making a perfect single player instead of wasting their time on multiplayer
QFT.
I'd love to see more story, more lore, more dialogue, more choices - things that don't fit into a co-op mode that well. Maybe in ME3 or even more likely in a later spin off to the Me series, but for sure not with a DLC.

but i think that what they did with spec ops missions was very clever, for those who don't know a set of missions for co-op seperate from the campaign. If they implemented somthing like this in ME3 it would be very good.(on the assumption that it in NO WAY affects the singleplayer.
