Although..where does it say that she cleared out the engine room? Maybe it was because I did it right before entering the relay and....well, i won't spoil it but yeah, there wasn't anyone in the engine room at the time. But i didn't know you could romance her at any other time

Miranda is actually a very thoughtful romance; She lacks the cute Tali side of things, or the hard tender side of jack (Or just plain hard, if you go that way).



Miranda is a very proud creature, extremely so. I rather respect the fact she managed to get with Shepard outside of her room. For her, if they had made love in her room it could possibly be considered a play of dominance over Shepard, which she didn't want. If they had made love in Shepards room, it could be considered a play of dominance for Shepard.



So she chose the neutral ground, a place they could meet as equal. It's an act that likely only has any real meaning to Miranda, but it's important just the same.



I do agree, however, she could have chosen a better spot for it. Like 'Meet me in the shuttle' or 'Hammerhead, now'. The Engine room, which has 4 rooms connected to it via windows, is suspect. Thought, in her favor, you can't actually see the part of the room they were in from the Windows.

PS: I liked your post. It gives all this a positive meaning. Whether it's true or not, at least I feel better about it now. And it proves something I believe in: Sometimes you just need to use your imagination.

Poeple of today, especially the young folks, want everything presented to them in detailed pictures and or videos. No imagination.

Yes, it's very disappointing. But what could you expect after the outfit that BioWare put her in? The love scene too, was obviously nothing more than a priiize.

I did think it a bit odd that the only romanceable female with her own cabin and bed is also the only one who decides to do it on the floor of a public area though. I'd think out of all of them Tali would be the one to get kinky in the engine room, and even Jack has the decency to come to your cabin before she jumps your bones (unless you go for the quick lay down below). Still, who am I to argue?

I do like the idea of Miranda choosing the drive core to avoid surveillance though. It makes a certain sense. Also, Miranda's romance ends a bit more satisfyingly if you bring her along on the final boss battle.

you get her to open up to you about her father and break a boundary with her = good

you willingly go in and help her save her sister, showing her trust in you = good

you convince her to talk to her sister, causing her to openly cry in front of you and thank you with a lot of intensity= also a very romantic moment

she makes you promise that you won't die and that she loves you =very very good

and how does it all end? 

"Let's have sex in the engine room for no apparent reason like a cheap porn" =....what?

I mean...why the engine room?? why couldn't it have been "making love" as it was in the first game, it just seemed odd to me and felt way out of character with her. anyone else feel the same?

That's how it goes in real life. When it comes to sex "making love" is for old people.
