My apologies if this has already been answered, and if it has could someone kindly direct me to said answer? I wasn't aware of the Bazaar promotion until late Monday/early Tuesday, quite possibly my fault as I may not have been paying proper attention, also, I didn't receive any emailed notice (not sure if they were given). Anyway, I have noticed general unrest in the forums due to the way the Bazaar has been executed, and they way the tokens have been given out. Most of the auctions at this point are way out of reach for some people like myself who figured this out all too late. I currently have 7348 tokens, which is respectable for just a few days, and I am averaging close to 50 referral clicks per day, but even if I were to win 2 twitter contests, and get 50 referral clicks tomorrow, I will still be at least 500-1000 tokens away from any real shot at taking an auction. And I understand how and why that is, and I accept that, as it is what it is, and if I was more alert to what was going on, I would be possibly participating in the auction instead of trying to get enough tokens to even get a bid in.
But I digress, my question is, have there been any statement from the guys at BioWare in regards to what is going to happen at the end of the Bazaar when a majority of us are going to still have tokens due to not having enough to bid in the auction? I am kind of curious if they just become null and void, or if they will be carried over to future promotions, or possibly used for some sort of "trade-up" for items sold by BioWare, such as items in the BioWare store, or for points to apply toward DLC for BioWare games.
Again, my apologies if these questions have been answered, and I want to close this out with a request that I really would like this to not become a "Bash BioWare" post or one calling them out for the Bazaar. I know I can't control what is posted after this is published, but I don't feel calling out BioWare will solve any issues regarding the Bazaar and the tokens. It was a nice gesture on their part, and from what I have read, they will be offering similar promotions to other territories. Happy biddings to everyone in the auctions and best of luck!

i have not seen or heard anything about them offering something for your left over tokens. i would hope they do something considering the huge amount of people that are unhappy with the way this thing went down. i hope they do something. but we will probably not even get an apology from them. at the end they will probably say. thats the end of the auctions thank you to everyone who participated. then they will probably say how much of a huge success it was for them. which it probably will be, because truth be told this was all just a ploy for them to use people for huge advertising. this wasnt really something for the fans to celebrate 15 years of bioware. if i didnt love there games so much i would wipe my hands of bioware. but alas they make awesome games.

Sorry, but no, I was asking a legitimate question, not setting up a place to pimp you links, there are places for that already.

"Tokens cannot be sold, are non-transferable, have no monetary value, can be used solely to bid on items during the Auction element of the Contest (discussed below) and expire as of 4:00:00 PM PDT Saturday April 10, 2010"
so like me you probably wasted your time with this. sorry (shrugs)

Thank you, I am not sure if it was a complete waste of time, but I could have been playing Dragon Age, instead of trying in vane to get points, but that is fine by me. It is nice to know that they won't be of any value after Saturday, which makes it pointless for me to continue to try to gain points, as there is no possible way to get from 7718 to bidding range by then.
