Is there any way to use the character creator and get my character in to my console version of the game. Are the characters uploaded to the site for download/

Or do I just have to wait for the game to come out on PS3 on the 21st or whenever?

The characters made with the PC character creator can only be used in the PC version of Dragon Age. Also when you upload a character to the social site you aren't uploading the actual character files so there is no way to download these characters. Players that wish to share their characters with others can email the character files from their harddrive.



The only way to get a character made for the PS3 will be with the PS3 version of Dragon Age. I know it is a drag for console players, but the game will be out soon.



fyi, you will still be able to upload your PS3 characters to the social site from within your PS3 game.

I dont think that there should be any problem because Bioware stores your character's info so in theory you should be able to download the info from Bioware, the way it works could be quite similar to the way the user created maps work in Halo 3.
In any case I dont think that Bioware wants people sharing their characters otherwise they would have made it a feature, what we currently have on the website is only a way to show our characters.
Also I wanted to say that I might be wrong and in that case ignor everything I said. ;p
