Is there a patch for Awakakening in the works?
Some of the issues are a bit jarring...

On that note, we're tracking all the issues we can from various threads around the forum. I'm very sorry to say that I don't have any more information available for you at the moment, other than to reassure you: we're working on it!
If the issues you're experiencing are crashes, as I've indicated in another thread - please make sure that you submit the error report via the Windows Error Reporting service. That information is valuable to the developers working on fixes.
If you're experiencing other issues, quick things to try include searching the forums (other users may have had the same problem and may have discovered a solution to whatever peculiarity was causing the issue), or to try the game after removing all mods installed. If that fixes it then feel free to re-introduce them one at a time until you find the offender so you can report it to the mod author (if you're feeling nice!). I've personally seen many odd issues caused by mods not playing nice with the core game, and within that there's also the possibility of a corrupted install of a mod, etc etc etc...
If those don't help you, then please feel free to make a thread related to your specific issue following the guidelines specified by Victor Wachter in the sticky (how to report...) in this forum. It's possible a fellow gamer might be able to help you, but it's also useful for us as providing complete information allows us to better track the issue.
Thanks to all of you who have been patient and who have reported issues with useful and complete information. Again, hopefully we'll have some news for you soon!

One month ago. You can check the post yourself! And we're still working on it.

If you were the lead designer in saying that 1.03 was ready to distribute i'm surprised your still in the job lol
I'm even more surprised that over one month (almost two) is a satisfactory time frame to not release a patch to make the game playable for all us that have awakenings on PC... but to release more DLC.
It just shows the real Bioware is no more after the takeover from EA. If they can’t get this game to operate smoothly, LOL @ Bioware's attempt to make the TOR MMO they have been hyping the hell out of.
I understand you're frustrated and upset, and for this I'm sorry. I wish I could make it better for you and all involved immediately, I wish I had some news to
give you, I wish I could give you exact statistics and details and pie
charts and bar graphs and candy and so on and so forth, but none of these things are
things I can provide for anybody at the moment. We're working hard on the issues reported in the forum, yes we believe we've got a solid lead on fixes for a lot of the issues at hand, no I can't tell you which ones or how many or when. As soon as that information is available, an announcement will be made - likely not by myself.
Having said that, coming on to the forums to routinely post vitriol won't really get you anywhere nor fix anything... and judging by your posting history, there's a fair amount of that. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, of course, but please remember that this forum is primarily for dealing with bugs, glitches, and other support from members of the community to other members of the community. And no: I'm not in charge of much, personally... just the low-man in the totem pole doing his job as best he can.
For all those others expressing concern about development cycles and the like, patch support and development is a separate entity from DLC development. We coordinate on certain issues, of course, but separate teams -- and no, of course the patch will not be priced DLC! Sheesh.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, these things take - above all else - time. I could likely go into detail about the nature of why it takes so much time, but that's a tangent that won't help any here at the moment.
So, we really do appreciate your patience thus far! If you're upset and frustrated that's fine - and believe me when I say I understand - but please continue to be as patient as you can. Should you feel the burning need to express said anger and frustration, do so on the appropriate forum for it and keep it civil. There's a difference between asking questions, expressing yourself reasonably, and lashing out. A big hint: it's not this forum! Getting angry at me personally will only cause me to ridicule you behind your back.
As soon as there's news to pass along to you all, it'll be passed along -- these are things out of my personal control. Please keep being as constructive as possible on the forums, and I'll do my part on this end to pass along that information so we can make the game a better experience for you.

... You say you can't tell us how many issues are fixed. Bull. GOOD programmers keep an up-to-date list of problems fixed. At any time anyone can see how much work has been done.
If you thought I was, to be clear... I am not a programmer myself. So insinuating I'm a bad programmer won't get you anywhere -- I AM a bad programmer, I couldn't program an okay dialog box pop-up without extensive googling.
But seriously, flat out: I don't have authorization to reveal any information. If I did, I would. As I've said before to others, I realize you're upset and frustrated and I wish there was something more I could do to alleviate your particular worries and concerns, but my hands are tied. All I can do for the time being is collect information and tell you the only truth I can at the moment... which is... you guessed it, we're working on it. Good progress is being made. Any further info will likely not be revealed by me unless I get express permission (read: told) to do so.

(1)...Nathan, gotta say man that this is a far cry from the collaborative
effort between the community and the last patch released for Neverwinter

(2)...It's not within your power to give this information, we get it, but is
there someone who can at least give us a changelog... or something?
r.e. point 1: Yes. I wasn't with the company back in those days, but this has been brought to the table and we're making an effort to change the way things are done around here with regards to community interactiveness and effectiveness of bug reporting at the like. My personal understanding is that - among other things - some issues have arisen, as.. well, honestly, the sheer amount of venom expelled by some members of the community on the forums is a huge deterrent to many devs poking their heads out. I've been trying to be nice about it and see for yourself the number of posts in this thread alone (let alone other threads!) lambasting me for not giving out enough information. If a dev team member pokes his head out, it's going to be to collect more information -- NOT reveal more. There are very strict rules about what we can and cannot say, and I'm doing my best to tread that line carefully. I realize that the whole interaction thing is a bit of a chicken/egg problem, but that doesn't change the situation at hand.
They wouldn't be able to tell you anything more than I could. Who wants to deal with that? They're normal people just like you and me. In my case, at least I've been through the customer service racket in the past so I've got a thicker skin than most, but to many of these guys that's just not something they want to deal with. At all. So, we're working on better ideas for interaction and exchanging of ideas. Moving forward, we're hoping that some more of these ideas can be brought to the table so the situation is improved.
r.e. point 2: All I can say is keep your eyes peeled. Hopefully sometime soon. This, too, is a process we hope to improve going forward.
edit: for better formatting. oofah.

...And you still aren't saying why the DLC zip through the approvals so
quickly but not a patch...
You're asking for answers here that I can't give you. This isn't an issue of me not wanting to, it's that I really can't. I've already told you: I'm a low-man on the totem pole here. Whether or not information is available to me, these decisions are not ones that I make nor have any significant say in. I'm not going to indulge this line of questioning any further.
You're slingling accusations and I've taken the time to try and answer them reasonably, so... you have the answers I can give you. The bottom line for me is that I've told you that we care about fixing these issues and we're trying to do something about it, you say that's a lie and until you see proof we aren't. I'm not beholden to proving it to you, so believe me or don't as you will. When there's info to be shared, it'll be there.

For what its worth, I think many would just like updates on how progress
is going with a patch or something other than vague reassurances.
..have a blog / stickied thread where a dev would post a little snippet of
what they were working on that day or week...

...it would be nice to have some means of keeping the community updated. When people hear nothing for months on end, but see a steady flow of DLC, they assume the worst...
...It would also be helpful to have a known issues sticky, if only to cut down on the number of "OMG stealing's teh borken" threads...
Great suggestion, Brockololly. I'll forward that along next meeting, it's definitely worth consideration.
R.e. what DeadJediJamie wrote and the rest of the posts, yep, these are things we want to fix and things that have been brought to the table. It's personally frustrating on my end to be unable to discuss these
issues candidly, but there's a considerable amount of red-tape that comes
between what I can and can't say on the forums. So... we're looking at solutions for implementing a better (and much less confusing) system for not only perusing (and acknowledging) known issues, but also receiving bug reports, system specs, repro steps, etc. that also will cut down on the repeated threads. All of this is "moving forward" from here.

Victor Wachter will be handling all revealing of patch-like infos. from here on out. So, there it is, some approval for some real, useful info to make its way out into the world for all of you that have been waiting. For what it's worth, my apologies it took this long but as I said: the decision wasn't up to me! As Victor said in his thread, not *all* the bugfixes are listed immediately, but there's a small selection there for starters and we'll keep adding to it as various fixes on the list go through QA and are approved.
Have a good weekend!
