I wish. My 4th CD somehow got a deep scratch, so the game can't finish installing.

How they hell did I get a scratch on one of the least used CDs?

Still hope for Team Gizka finish their job on The Sith Lords Restoration Project. Still hope someone, somewhere will come up with an idea of KotOR 3.

Gizka is old news (and abandoned).

These guys, on the other hand, actually finished!
TSL Restored Content Mod

As for KOTOR3, ain't going to happen.  The lore and characters are being used for TOR...  With Bastila's (and your) descendant as one of the key Jedi NPCs.

I stopped playing ages ago. There was a time I would replay it every few months but that stopped after Jade Empire. I'll have to give it another try someday. It's tempting to skip straight to KotOR2 though.

The Sith are behind this, I'm sure of it.

I play it when I feel like it. I still love the game. It was the first Bioware game I played, back when I was looking for a game that had romance and freedom of choices and such. I was recommended this game and I fell in love with Bioware instantly.

Will the game run on Windows 7? I had the PC version a while ago but I lost some of the discs. Thinking about getting it on direct2drive.

People have had mixed luck. It runs for me on W7 (and worked on Vista 64 before that), but the resolution choice is limited... Dunno if D2D has the same problem as Steam where the copy protection keeps you from installing the widescreen mod.

Sounds good, once you download it, follow the steps here to get it working for Windows 7 (I know it says KotOR 2 on the steps, but it works for the original KotOR)

Once a year or so I go through it and TSL. I'm up to 43-44 playthroughs I think it was.

I have a problem with games. Seems that I start down the long road and maybe 30-40 hours in, something else catches my eye. To this date, the ONLY game I can recall that I HAD to finish was KotOR.

Twice.

Believe it or not, I am only halfway through the original ME (but a new install on the laptop yesterday...), about 2/3 on DA:O...It's not that the games aren't captivating- I LOVE them, but I just get distracted too easy with other things. Other than KotOR.

I'm looking forward to TOR and fearing it at the same time, if it's as deep as KotOR was...

I play most of the old RPGs from time to time. KotOR is definetly one of my favorites, right along with Planescape: Torment. Didn't care as much for the sequel, it just felt too unfinished, especially at the end. And it sorta lacked the "wtf" moment KotOR had when it turned out I was actually Revan. I really did not see that coming on my first playthrough.

havent played it in the longest time. I really enjoyed it though. Tried Kotor 2 but I guess knowing it wasnt from bioware dampened the experience. I didnt get far and just never returned

:P Now I go through it once a year. When it first came out I couldn't stop playing it, heh.

Sure, from time to time.

Of course, I also still play much older games from time to time, and I typically don't even think of it as old.

I would probably play it once in a while if I had my original XBox. I don't trust the backwards compatibility of the 360.

The only problem i had was an odd black line bisecting everyones face. Especially mission. I dunno why. Still plenty of fun.
