Bit curious how does this shapeshifting work and is the CC from the desire demon worth anything, always thought it be fun to try being a desire demon, since well they pretty exotic and well... But i dunno if its worth considering at all since there seem to be so few shapeshifter thread it sound like they a little undercut on short end of the stick, but is this the case.
Was considering combining it with blood magic.

No, but Shapeshifter is not a spec that just gives you a bunch of useful skills. It's more like an active playstyle, like Arcane Warrior (wear heavy armor, use a sword, use specific gear, etc) or Blood Mage (wear +con items, use specific gear, etc).
I'm not too fond of taking Shapeshifter/Blood Mage for my PC. I prefer to be the one reponsible for keeping the party alive so I usually take Spirit Healer. A well-made Shapeshifter is also very difficult to kill, so SH comes naturally. Blood Mage is still pretty powerful though.
