I think most people would agree, that 2 Rogues in one party is too much. So then, why do I have to keep a Rogue in my party for god knows how long, to unlock Assassin, which is a Rogue specialization? I mean, so I rescued the damn guy, and let him live, which my party mates strongly disapproved of, but now I have to drag him along for an indefinite amount of time? I don't need another Rogue in my party. This makes no sense!

Why do you need to take him anywhere? Just give him enough gifts until it teaches it to you in camp.

You can just talk him up in the camp. Takes 10-15 minutes & a gift or two. I posted a similar thread yesterday, but could not get a definite answer on where an assassin tome could be purchased, so I just made an effort in the camp.



Either way, you don't need to to take him with you. Just run through some of his dialoge - be nice to him & flirt a little and it'll unlock pretty easily

Go buy the assassin book from the elf merchant in the alienage, problem solved.

Eh, when does he start selling? I went right before the endgame and he said he was "closed."

I gave Z a couple gifts he liked, was friendly to him, and he eventually agreed to teach assassin. I've literally never had him in my party outside of camp.
