I won an auction.  I don't have a following either.  I'm a hermit, but not antisocial (online and off). I only won a single twitter challenge. I never employed sketchy tactics.  I also didn't start trying to earn tokens until the day of the auction, yet I did win.  And I have reason to believe that I was one of many, not one of few.  Do I think this bazaar was perfect. No. But not a failure either

"It just means that those that were in the 48 states, will again be
able to participate til the end of the year's celebrations. "

So that should prevent us from participating again.
Well there's no way thats going to happen is there? LOL  Obviously you 48 staters were the chosen ones.   The rest of us riffraff have to sit here and watch the goings on........and take flak because we disagree with how this all came down.

Now we have all the contest winners coming into this thread and telling us..we should be happy ....and not criticize how this all went down?

Thats pretty comical.
 yes USA USA  except for those bastards in NY and FL.

 And hate me because I won!!!  My points are invalid and show I am talking rubbish.
And your true nature shows you for what you are.    Thank you for that. :)
should I have added [insert sense of humor here] ?
Yes LOL
See this is why I don't have friends.  No one gets my jokes. :crying:
It's okay...I do sarcasm as well...but I suppose you might have missed that. :P
Look here, ma'am.

I forgot what I was going to say.....

Lucy, i finished up with 14204, and the fact that you claim it is "shady" just shows how little you actually tried for this event.

I spent every day working on getting referrals, creating twitter responses, and making sure I took every chance I had to earn tokens to work toward a prize.

The fact that you didn't take similar initiative has nothing to do with me and everything to do with you.

Maybe you started late, maybe you didn't have a referral group of sorts set up, but don't get angry at those of us who took this seriously from the get go and tried our darndest to win.

It is unbecoming of you. I don't think the vast majority of the winners cheated, instead they worked hard to win something they wanted.

I'm sorry you didn't

Thank you for replying before you even read what she wrote.

If you did read, you'd learn that she CANNOT PARTICIPATE, because she does not live in the 48 states.

Nice job, douchebag.

Indeed, Lucy is Australian. Unless something changed when I wasn't paying attention, Australia is not one of the 50 states, let alone the 48 that can participate.

Sorry Lucy. People with thousands of tokens got involved. If you did not get as involved as they did, it is not their fault or ours.

You create a contest where it's impossible to participate without becoming a spam bot, and it's not your fault? Yeah, ok...

In no way did I become a "spam bot"  and I still got well over 10k tokens and  other then the computers had my pick of what I wanted.

All I did was

A) register all my games (I was not a fan of the filling out a quiz to ge tthe smae amount of points but whatever)

B) Post my link in my sig here, and throw the link on my faebook account every morning (got all 500+ point a day doing what I do anyways)

C) winning 2 twitter contests.

It wasn't hard at all to get that many points, and I never went out of my way to do anything I did not normally do.

So the whole spam bot thing is preatty much a crock

So you spammed your friend list - congrats. I have more regard for my friends, apparently. If Bioware wants to create Farmville, they should just do it.

And, if after looking at what the forums have dissolved into over the last week, you can honestly say this contest didn't create a spamming atmosphere then you're nuts.

oh I see the problem there,  because putting a code up once a day was totally spamming them, on the front page where they get all their information when they log on. last time I checked spamming was sending unsolicited request indiscriminetly,  not posting one link a day  with a message stating what it was for

I think the porblem here isn't that you have "regard" for your friends, its that your "friends" wouldn't help you out if you asked them, that must be hard for you, I am just lucky I guess having friends that are willing to help me out.

I'm glad there are people out there who had some fun with this whole thing. It was designed, it seems for a very social group. I don't fit in that group. I watched the squirming and mad bidding out of curiosity, but I knew I never had a chance. I't was like watching a pack of dogs fighting over table scraps. I think I'm in the minority here. I don't, and will never, use Twitter. I detest Facebook. I don't like competitions in general. Thrown at to many as a kid. I'm sure the people with all the points have lots of friends who helped them out and went to a lot of effort to earn their reward. It just wasn't for me. It was rather fun to watch though.

I didn't have an advertising link on my profile and I still got over 10000 tokens just by being in the thread MackenzieShepard put up.

Yes, I know. I also pointed it out earlier when Mr. Priestly decided to respond, implying that Lucy did not get as involved as others in the auction, despite her inability to to participate.

Well people insist on being sarcastic despite text and letters not relating the sarcasm they are trying to convey.
