If you like to play aggressively and charge in, then the Revenant is for you. It suffers from reduced accuracy, but at short range, accuracy isn't an issue.

I leaning towards the widow, but the revenant also seems good, anyone help me choose weapon, experiences with each weapon and stuff would be good
It's a question of how you prefer to play. If you prefer striking from a greater distance and using superior accuracy to dismantle your enemies like a surgeon with the Widow and the Vindicator than you should take the Widow and spec your soldier to maximize damage per shot (Commando and Heightened Adrenaline Rush: note Heightened AR gives you a +140% weapon damage bonus as opposed to hardened's +100%).
If you prefer to be more aggressive wade into your enemies lines and then mow them down with a beast of a machine gun then you should take the Revenant and spec your soldier to maximize toughness (Shock Trooper and Hardened Adrenaline Rush).

If you're still undecided ask yourself how much do you like the Vindicator? Personally, its my favorite gun in the game and I'm a damned surgeon with it so, I prefer to take the Widow; but if you prefer the fully automatic assault rifles (Avenger, Collector Rifle, Geth Pulse Rifle) then you'll probably prefer the Revenant.

You don't really need widow to do good sniping as a soldier, you can turn on adrenaline rush and line up 12 good viper sniper rifle shots.
True; but since you're spending more time out of cover you're more likely to lose your shields and thus you'll have to spend time waiting for them to recover. The Viper combines well with the Revenant since you tend to take more damage using those weapons and since you can fire all the way through the longer adrenaline rush that the combo of shock trooper and hardened AR gives you without having to reload.
The Widow combines better with the Vindicator since they are both very powerful and accurate; but burn through ammo. Thus the combo of Commando and Heightened Adrenaline Rush which maximizes damage per shot and accuracy is best suited to these weapons.
I've played both ways and I don't think either build is a lot more powerful than the other; but they play very differently and they're both a lot of fun in their own way (hail of fire vs. surgical headshots). What you get out of them is more a matter of your own skills and tastes.

But the point is that if you take the claymore, you have room for vindicator which is better at medium range than the revenant. That way, you've got all bases covered: Claymore for short, Vindicator for medium, sniper for long range.

Thanks guys, probably take the widow as it suits my playstyle better
If you take the Widow, you'll need to decide which assault rifle you want to pair with it.
I prefer the Vindicator for its raw power and the way it benefits from the same bonuses as the Widow; but if you take it you'll have to keep a constant eye on your ammo. To preserve ammo you'll have to make sure to use your shotgun when enemies get in close and maximize the power and accuracy of your Widow and Vindicator shots by using heightened adrenaline rush heavily and even use your pistol to stretch your ammo in prolonged firefights.
If you want a more balanced; but less powerful approach then you should take the Collector Rifle (or Geth Pulse Rifle if you don't have it, or the Avenger if you don't have the GPR.) since the larger ammo reserve and fully automatic fire will offset the Widow's weaknesses although it won't benefit as much from heightened adrenaline rush and Commando as the Vindicator does.
Personally I love the high risk/high reward style that using the ammo burning Widow and Vindicator gives me since it forces me to use all my weapons and adapt my tactics when I run low on ammo; but if you want a more conservative and balanced style than you might leave the Vindicator on the bench.

Also, depending on what level of difficulty you happen to be playing on, on Harcore and above you can acquire the Geth Pulse Rifle on Haestrom. It may do only half the damage of the Revenant on a shot-by-shot basis, but it is more accurate and shoots far faster. If you pass on the Revenant, the Pulse Rifle is a good "second best".

Actually, if you're placing shots well, you don't need to worry as much about ammo as you're saying. I've yet to run out of ammo, and I've used only the Viper (later the Widow) and the Vindicator. I've yet to pull out my Shotgun or my Heavy Pistol at all.

I'm pretty damn accurate with my Vindicator + Widow combo; but I'm impressed you don't feel the need to whip out your shotty from time to time.
I rarely run low on ammo when I'm playing with the Vindicator and the Widow since I've learned to exploit the superior accuracy to max the damage per shot with headshots and heightened adrenaline rush (which also further aids accuracy). That said there are a few battles where you face a lot of enemies who don't seem to drop much ammo or who drop their ammo out in a very exposed area. The only battles where I can recall ammo becoming an issue were the Eclipse assault during the Archangel mission, the husk assault at the end of the Reaper IFF mission, the final area in the husk infested mine, and one or two of the collector battles on the suicide mission (Collectors don't seem to drop ammo as frequently as mercs or mechs) and to a lesser degree the final boss.
The sparse ammo during the Eclipse assault can be compensate for by making a rush for the huge pile of ammo the mercs drop or by running back inside the base for a second to load up.
Ammo issues against husks can be compensate for by using the Eviscerator more heavily against them which is a good idea anyway since it's probably the best anti husk weapon in the game aside from heavy weapons. The Vindicator isn't very effective against husks so bobbing and weaving with the Eviscerator while using concussive shot to instakill the unarmored ones is generally more effective. Alternatively one can bring along the Arc Projector heavy weapon or my personal favorite the Firestorm heavy weapon to totally decimate the charging husks.
As for the Collectors on the suicide mission there's not much you can do other than aiming carfully, charging into shotgun range or whipping out the pistol if you get in deep ****. Using concussive shot or better yet an ally with throw to instakill enemies by flinging them into the abyss can save ammo; but it also robs you of ammo since enemies who fall into oblivion take their ammo with them.
Ammo shouldn't become a big issue with the final boss so long as you make the effort to snag some of the ammo the collector reinforcements drop; but if it does you can alway bring the Cain with you to polish off a huge chunk of the Reaper's armor.
