Yes it does, in a JRPG you have no control of your characters choices, looks and other stuuf, you do in ME2, so it's not a JRPG.

So be it. There is no way he could convince me that SHale and Zevran are essential to the plot since SHale is a downloadable character and Zevran is also optional.

I told you I would and all you would have to do it make a topic on the DA:O boards called "Shale and Zevran have no presence in the main plot" Then you would have me (and probably a dozen others) quickly correcting you. In other words, you had the opportunity to have this resolved, and you chose to run away from it because you didn't want to go to the DA:O boards. That's your choice. If you don't want to go to the DA:O board to talk about it, then the point is closed, and I have nothing more to say to you. You can talk to yourself until you're ready to stop running away from the DA:O board or something. See you later.

I didn't "command" you to anything. No need to get all dramatic on me. I only said if you want to find out why you are wrong, here's what you have to do, etc. I can understand not wanting to do it and the desire to keep it to PMs. A topic stating Shale has no presence at all in the main plot would probably be very embarrassing for you. Like I told the other guy, if you don't want to discuss DA:O on the DA:O boards, I'll accept it as a concesssion, and drop it. We're done.

Yeah. BioWare themselves have said that ME2 is a shooter at its core. It doesn't bother me, for I have always been a shooter fan and the combat is much slicker now. I still love ME1 too, they're both masterpieces in their own respects. But I agree with you, I hope ME3 is a sort of mix of these two... The awesome combat from ME2 + more of the RPG aspects from ME1 = The perfect ME3.

but what happens when someone who hasn't played DAO comes into this thread, not expecting to have DAO ruined for him! me i would be pissed off, and im guessing that why its against the RULES!!!

I can assure you, this is not too complex for me.  I am merely asking simple questions that you can't seem to answer.  That's okay.  I don't expect many people to unless they can think objectively within the confines of what necessitates the plot of ME2.

Let me guess, you got so fed up repeating the same incoherent, evasive responses (that didn't answer his questions, as noted) that you decided you were right and moved on. This is the thread's topic, not Dragon Age.

(I'd also like to remind everyone talking about Dragon Age here that I just started playing the game. I am not amused to see blatant spoilers tossed around left and right in a forum that does not discuss the game - likewise in a thread that has nothing to do with it. Take it elsewhere.)

And yes, ignore the haters, they the minority, very vocal but still minority!

Problem I see is most people with negative responces to ME2 come, post, leave where as mass majority of the pro ME2 crowd stay and post over and over and over masively deceiving their numbers unless your paying attention.

I pay to god Bioware has noticeds this but after reading Normans power point display, Im not holding breath on matter.
