So, starting a new game (NOT a NG+) with my level 60 ME1 Shep (finally perfected her) and I'm going Infiltrator.  Note that my bonus power is irrelevant since I'm playing on Veteran (I'm not the kind of guy who enjoys eating Insanity runs for breakfast, sorry).

I'm wondering, what should my point priorities be?  What should I go for maxing out first?

Put 1 point in Incinerate first (to stop healing on Vorcha/Krogan). (Doesn't have to be first, but should be before Mordin recruitment mission).
Next Max Tactical Cloak up to Assassination Cloak.
Next Max Operative up to Assassin.
After that, doesn't matter so much, probably raise Disruptor.

Why is your bonus power irrelevant? You still get a bonus power, you just don't want to use it? If you are taking a bonus power, I'd take Warp Ammo or some prefer Armor Piercing. I'd max the bonus ammo 3rd, and then Disruptor Ammo 4th.  5th I'd max Incinerate up to the AOE version.  The final 51st point goes into either cryo or ai hacking.  Both are useful at only 1 point.

Warp Ammo as bonus is AMAZING! Also, Say get assassination cloak up, and slowly work up Operative to Assassin as well. Incinerate is a must for the Vorcha and Krogan of the Mordin, and Archangel recruitment missions.

I don't know, I start at once by upping my health and damage with at least one point, getting incineration, and one point in my power at the very least so I can use it.

I'd go for passive first, then cloak(+75% damage IMO), if taking a bonus power I'd grab Heavy Warp Ammo and then max that out. Then Area Incinerate, then go for Squad Disruptor Ammo.

I'll max out Tactical Cloak and Operative, usually upgrading to Assassination Cloak and Assassin for the weapon damage.

I'll also max out Cryo Ammo, which means 3 points into Disruptor Ammo just to unlock Cryo. This is actually the one I try to max out first in order to upgrade to Squad Cryo. If you and your squadmates aim for three different targets, that's three targets frozen and quickly dead.

1 point in Incinerate is really all you need, unless you wanted to max it out. I never do.

My bonus power is Energy Drain, but that's because I'm playing an Insanity playthrough and I need to take out shields. The extra bonus with Energy Drain is that you'll reduce the enemy's shields and boost your own. But for Veteran and below, I lean toward Armor Piercing Ammo.

Well, it's irrelevant to me because I'm playing on Veteran.  Therefore, since only the Elite enemies have any special protection, Reave/Warp Ammo is simply overkill to me.  If I were doing Hardcore/Insanity, then I'd likely go with Heavy Warp Ammo and forgo Disruptor Ammo altogether (since Zaeed can just take the Squad Evo).  My current ideal build is:

Disruptor Ammo - 4 (Heavy Disruptor)
Cryo Ammo -4 (Squad Cryo)
Incinerate - 4 (Incinerate Blast)
Tactical Cloak - 4 (Assassin Cloak)
Operative - 4 (Assassin)
AI-Hacking - 1
Reave - 1 (Because it's my bonus power, and if I don't have Miranda vs. Barriers...)

That's 52 points and you only have 51.  You have to drop either AI Hacking or Reave.  I'd recommend dropping Reave because biotics don't go with the tech theme.. and honestly, wasting your cooldown on a 1 point Reave is not going to be worth it when you could cast level 4 incinerate OR pull off a cloaked headshot.

On Veteran you really don't need to min/max. I would get at least one point in all of your abilities, and then work on passive.

Except selecting a bonus power gets you 1 free point in that bonus power.

I took this build through Insanity with great success.

2 Disruptor Ammo

4 Squad Cryo Ammo

4 Assassination Cloak

2 Incinerate

2 AI Hacking

4 Agent

4 Improved Flashbang Grenade (If you don't have Kasumi, 1 point in Neural Shock or Slam, fill up Incinerate with extras)

I'd hate taking Warp Ammo on an Infiltrator. It's really more of a biotic power than an ammo power and I like to RP.

The 51 points INCLUDES the 1 point you get from the bonus power.
2 points per level for level 1-20 = 40
1 point per level for levels 21-30 = 10
1 bonus point = 1
= 51 points.

Haha, I have heard good things about the Improved Flashbang Grenade (mostly that it owns)

Yeah, I did Insanity once for the achievement (I went straight from normal to Insanity) and decided that doing Insanity runs just wasn't my speed.  Far too tedious and painful.

If you're playing on veteran, who cares what the point priority is. Its not like anything vet and below is challenging anyways.

Maybe not for you, but it's challenging enough for me without being a total death wish like Hardcore or Insanity.

if you'r playing on the hardest diffculty fo you, then go for assassination cloak, assassin, heavy disruptor ammo and improved geth shield boost as bonuspower, couse if you are close to death and you'r not behind or near some cover, you always need some backup...

Veteran? Do enemies all have defense in that difficulty?

Because if they don't, don't worry about flashbang. Its main strength is its ability to affect defended enemies. If enemies are mostly running around with no defense, Neural Shockwave is an aoe 9 second stun on a 3 second cooldown. That's some easy math.

Did you find the rank 2 AI Hacking really worth it over improving Disruptor or Incinerate? Did you try it with just rank 1 for comparison?

First of all, AI hacking is useless. Take squad cryo/improved disruptor over it any time.

Second, the first thing you max is your cloak, then your passive.

After that, it doesn't really matter.

AI Hacking is not useless.  I personally wouldn't put more than 1 point into it, but it's definitely not useless.  At 1 point you can chain hack a room full of mechs on Insanity.  Strip 1, hack it, strip a 2nd while they kill the 1st, then hack the 2nd and keep on going.

This and you could always use the element zero you have lying around to respec for encounters with lots of synthetics.  AI hack rank 4 makes fighting geth and mechs almost trivial.  I mean seriously, what else are you going to do with all that eezo lying around?
