Less than 10,000 tokens, then don't bother bidding.

If you have less than 10,000 token you have no chance and I mean no chance of winning anything, not even a poxy 10 pence sticker.  You have to some how cheat, spam, fiddle, and/or hack your way to a prize it seems.  How can anyone post a bid in 4 seconds.  Do these peole know what they are bidding for or are people so desparate they will just throw all thier tokens into any auction.

I'm got just over 6000 and it looks like I'll never get to 10,000.

I'm out then.

:bandit::bandit::bandit::bandit:   :devil::devil::devil::devil::devil:

p.s. click me for an extra token  I need them.

The moment my clock hits a quarter-hour mark, I can refresh and see the new auction at 0 bids. So bidding in 4 seconds shouldn't be that hard.

But yeah, very sad news regarding "must have ~10,000 to win".

I haven't done all of the math yet but with 300+ auctions complete, and most going for about 10,000 tokens, there appears to be a disporportionate number of members who have won 5 to 6 challenges. I have won 2. How many members are there total who are answering these challenges and why are only a few hundred winning most of them?

Not sure. I've won one challenge. Keep in mind for many of us we weren't even aware of the challenges until a week after the contest to earn more tokens had started. I'm not mad at BioWare, but I am disappointed in how this was handled. I got a bunch of referral clicks over the past few days and am currently at 7.5k, which should in theory be enough to win a hat or something... but it isn't.

I check the auctions every so often to see what the max bids are looking like, and it looks like this entire bazaar will consist of about 95% of max bids being over 9k. It would have been better to not have the challenges at all and give everyone the same amount of tokens. Even that scenario isn't perfect, though.

As a consolation I'd like to give you all hugs. Purely platonic, mind you. *hugs*

I answered almost every challenge expect for one or two and I've won only one. I have the 6000 tokens you easily get, another 20 for people clicking on my URL, and 1000 from challenges. I have been dedicated and yet it doesn't appear I'll ever have enough to win a single auction.

I agree that Bioware should have made sure that all participants won equally, even with challenges, and I just wonder if people aren't somehow hacking the "1 token per click" deal with the URL? Somehow only 300 - 500 people are getting almost all of the tokens, which means either only those people are winning challenges or are somehow hacking the system.

Or are there only that many participating?

I cant wait for this to end. I'm so sick of every other ****ing post, "click mine dude, I've clicked yours". Shut the **** up, I will NOT click your stupid links, cause just like me, you aren't going to win anything without sacrificing your self respect by spamming that stupid ****ing link!

Yeah this contest has been sort of unfortunate for the "long time fan, can't sit at my computer crowd". I'm a teacher so even if twitter wasn't blocked at my school its not like I can actually get in on any challenges.....so even if I own ALL the bioware games (which I do) I can't really participate in any of this because of the hours the challenges keep. Hopefully they'll throw in some sort of prize at the end for all these unspent points (like DLC or something).

glucero0, you realize that it's 10 tokens per click until 500 are reached _per day_, right? So each day, someone can relatively easily get 500 tokens by having 50 people click their link.

The Twitter challenges are helpful. But even if you never won one, getting the 500 referral points each day would bring you into the 10,000+ range.

Yeah, didn't get the email until yesterday.
Sucks because I missed the Afterline and Illusive Man Lithos since I didn't even get an email about them.

I won a set of Mass Effect posters for about 8600 points :3 I think I managed to win that prize with the lowest bid out of all of the sets that went up.

it seems there is no point in bothering. this has becoming an every day occurrence: when you refresh for a new auction and it's already at 10k
