They could make some funny stuff if they put Finnish soldier in it.

If they do that, I want a russian SM and some squad interaction.

They'd be worse than Jack and Miranda.

Me too as well! It's kind of annoying to keep hearing American accents throughout games in general. I think a Dutch character could be rather entertaining?

The game is American, right? That means most characters are going to have American accents. Most people don't want to hear some European guy try to speak english. I would personally find it kind of annoying having to crank up the volume because some Dutch guy is trying to explain whats going on. No offense to Dutch people or Europeans.

You don't know much, do you?

I really find it odd that Humans are the only ones as a specis with different races.

Caucasian

******

Asian

Yet no other race seems to have this it would make sense that some Asari are Green or some Krogan have scales instead of plates it just doesnt make sense.

Anyone else see this Giant Ass Loophole thats been running through every sci-fi game and movie imaginable?

Some asari are darker then others, some Krogan have different color scales.

Truth is, the game now seems like the entire Earth is one big United States of America. Humans in the Mass Effect universe need to be more diversified and I'm not talking merely about Shepard's crew. Of course having another human from Europe (or maybe South America as the game was lack of Latin Americans) would be the best thing, but if there is no way that might happen, then maybe just we could see this change in NPCs or supporting characters.

I hope, BioWare will think about that :) Polish team member would be most appreciated by me, but it's just me (:

It would probably be more likely to encounter an Indian or chineese character

I see no reason why Central/Eastern Europe would be more prominent or significant on the world stage than it is today. i.e. No. Can't stand slavophiles.

Being Dutch, I can tell you that's the last thing you'd want; we're terrible with guns. You want an American, they like shooting stuff. If you can't get one of those I'd reckomend a Russion; just point to the nearest Reaper, say  "He instulted Mother Russia" and sit back as stuff gets blown up.

There have been plenty of other accents, just generally more minor characters that have them.

Samesh Bhatia

Yaroslav Tartakovsky

Lt. Girard

Zaeed

Hock

Miranda

....probably some others that I'm forgetting off the top of my head.

That would be awesome.

Maybe they should allow you to play as a Shepard with different accents - you know: Casting more voice actors for the same lead part. Bioware went with some pretty big names for voice-acting in Mass  Effect 2: Martin Sheen and that girl from Battlestar Galactica.
She's hot.

I would love to be able to play a character with a latino or black voice actor for the part - get someone famous like.. well, I can't name any.. I'm not that good with names.

You would also have a reason for playing with a different skin than the default one.

There already was an Indian accent in ME1 - remember Samesh Bhatia? Well, it was a very bad attempt at one, since it was totally over-the-top and the VA couldn't even pronounce the character's name properly. (I'm Indian, his rendition of 'Bhatia' left me in splits the first time I heard it - he made it sound like 'Buttiya'! )

Yeah, that cracks me up every time I hear it. :D Sounds more like King Julian from Madagascar (the animated films). Hey, are they the same VA?
