In the CC if you used the beard slider it would change all of the lower part of your character's face, including sucking in the cheeks to their max setting. Do the consoles also do this?
Do the consoles suffer from the beard bug?

Has there been any comment from bioware on this?

I never saw anything on it in the bug thread. That's why I ended up asking here. My current avatar isn't quite how I wanted him due to not being able to use a proper beard without messing up half of his face..

I don't believe it's a bug, perse.I think the beards are set to a specific size and shape (they don't scale) so when you choose a beard, the face readjusts to fit the beard and the lower face options grey out (until you turn off the beard). Unfortunately, it's the face that scales to the beard instead of the other way around. I just used the stubble feature to create a beard.

yes it does happen on the 360 version i saw it when i tried to customize one of the origional character slides you can use and it changes his cheeks so unless your using a beard then dont mess with the option.

It's annoying at some places the beard does not even touch the face it's just floating in the air.
