 Like the title.

When I put a +5% shield bonus chestplate in addition to  +5 shield bonus gauntlets, does it finalize at a 10% increase?

Further yet, when is the bonus calculated? is it augmented by abilites that increase shield strength, such as tech armor and/or Barrier/shield boost?

Or do they just not stack and I'm wasting my time?

EDIT: After reading one of the stickied posts, I am assuming they stack.

I am pretty sure they stack. With my infiltrator I have +5% weapon damage recon hood, +5% weapon damage stabilizing gauntlets, +5% power damage amplifier plates, +5% health aegis vest, and +10% health life support leggings. So I should have +10% weapon damage, +15% health, and +5% power damage. If it doesn't stack, then what the hell is the point of offering different pieces of armor that do the same thing?

You can test in game. pause and go to the "squad" screen to view your current shield strength. Test out the different armors and powers.

Yes they stack. No it doesn't make that much of a difference what armor pieces you use. :|
