Most likely an old computer adventure game (maybe FMV) I don't remember the name of.



There were definitely a lot of weird computer adventure games in the mid-late 90's.

Calling Okami "weird" might be a stretch, but...I try to find reasons to get this game out there as much as possible. It's got awesome cel-shaded graphics, an intriguing and unique art style, and cooky characters that'll make you LOL (or, at the very least, COL).

That was one of those weird games I heard and read about but never played. Cho Aniki was infamous back when I imported tons of games. If you think that version is bad, you should see the latter games on newer platforms. Weird as those fighters look, you should see the shooters.

on the website its called "The C Word"

Bullfrog had some surreal stuff such as Theme Hospital back in the day...



Truth be told, I´d say that Myst, 7th Guest and 11th Hour score quite high in the list.

Panic (Sega Cd)  Puzzle game, made no goddamn sense in that Japanese sort of way.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (PS & Dreamcast) Based on the anime series.  Messed up beyond belief either due to mistranslation, or maybe the series is like that, I dunno or care.

Is it me, or did Sega Cd have a lot of bizarre games?

It was probably the series. Each volume of JoJo was successively weirder. The games were based on what I felt was the most interesting part, although it did make allowances such as letting you play characters to the endgame that died in the manga by that point.

But really, when you have a story with an antagonist that's an undead severed head attached to the decapitated body of the last part's protagonist, you know it's going to get weird fast.

Then again bizarre is in the title.
