Just installed the game and I know I have plenty of ram (4 gig)  It feels like I am playing in slow motion. Dose not seem to be running smooth.

This is what I got :

AMD Atholon ™  II X2 2500 Processor

Graphics Card : NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE nForce 430

Your integrated graphic chipset is not powerful enough to run DA:O correctly. The minimum requirements are: ATI Radeon X850 256MB or NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT 128MB or greater (Windows Vista: Radeon X1550 256 MB or NVidia GeForce 7600GT 256MB). You can see a comparison of your graphic chipset to the 6600GT graphic card here:

Hi, I had 2 character profiles and I accidentally deleted one (with all its saved games), is there a way that I can get it back or have I lost that character completely?

You can try to use an undelete utility (like Recuva)

Try "Can You Run It?" over at: http://www.systemreq...slab.com/cyri.  It should tell you exactly what your system needs to run the game properly.

The results given by CYRI are really doubtful. You get better results with YouGamers. (Select a game then System Requirements)

There are three sites I knew of that would examine a PC system and report whether a particular game is playable.  Only one is highly accurate.  However, since it is limited strictly to Microsoft's own games, it is practically useless. 

The Game-o-Meter at YouGamers is quite good, and they are sharp enough over there to cut through the marketing lies that are sometimes disguised as System Requirements, so that silly Pie in the Sky impossibilities are named (as was the case for TES: Oblivion and NWN2).   The errors with requirements on Dragon Age and Mass Effect 1 are plain stupidity, is all those are.

SR Labs, as noted, is quite bad by comparison to You Gamers' site.  There is only one useful reason to go to the SR Labs site ("Can yoy Run it").  You can get a printout of your PC's components from their (inaccurate when it comes to the final estimates) reports.  

P. S. When I wrote this, I forgot that EA itself has a rather bad feature that purports to report whether a given system can run this or that game, and it seems that their is as bad or worse than SR Labs' is.

I have a problem my comp crashes or has mega slow down during cut scenes. so i messed around a bit and discovered that if i disabled the in game sound it worked fine. the thing is i dont want to play through the rest of the game with no sound any idears ??

It´s strange. I just use de 1.04 patch and when I try to play the game, it´s says "could not find the disk". I downloaded the Amgarrak Golens DLC  and it won´t install too. That´s great.

You may be running into the selective DVD rejection situation that happens and forces gamers to give up using their hard copy, in favor of uninstalling and then using the digital copy from the EA store (free if you have your CD Key) instead. Incidentally, after installing the expansion, you have to use that disk instead of the original DA disk.

i havea major porblem, i have the laest patch for the game and i downloaded lilianas song but when i clicked on other campaigns i only got awakening and i have more than just that one then when i went to the installed content it said i need to restart dragon age. i have tried that twice and now i dont have it at all.

ok, im sure this has come up before but I am having problems finding a solution. I recently switched harddrives and now I cannot access my previous saves/characters even though I can find the files for them. Any ideas?

You should copy your previous Characters folder in My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age.

Hello, it seems that the game wont have any voice except my character's one AND doesn't even work when I choose the Noble origin!!! Strangely, it worked perfectly before...

Before this happened I played Leliana's Song to get the special item for the main campaign, when freeing some people from the dungeon their voice suddenly stopped. After I collected all the pieces of the armor I quit the game. Then installed the Toolkit and wandered around it.

Please help... 
Probably I need to reinstall, which takes way too loooong, because I need to install Awakening, Patch 1.04 and a lot of DLCs...

My problem is, that in the Sacred Ashes questline, where I have to kill Kolgrim to get the Horn, his body disappeared, and I can't find it, which means I can't loot it, so I can't summon the High Dragon and I can't kill it. Any idea? Maybe the item ID for the Horn or something? :\\

i'm having this really wierd problem where after playing the game for about 5 minutes or so, it starts to lag horribly bad. Like it goes down to about 3-4 fps. My laptop can run this game on the highest quality since thats what i got through the human origin with at a decent framerate with no slowdowns. But after 5 minutes, i'm lucky to even have 10fps on the lowest possible setting and resolution.

Any way i can fix this plox?

Hey, I've got an issue with my graphics. I've play DAO since it came out with no problems. Then I went to play today and all my weapons, shields, staff, etc. graphics apparently malfunctioned, leaving me with an ugly looking yellowish shape... no textures, no meshes, nothing but a shape... I hit up the rest of the web and apparently I'm the only one suffering this problem since I can't find any information at all regarding this problem. I tried adjusting my in-game graphic options and my Nvidia options but neither did me any good. I running with an Nvidia Geforce GTX 260M w/ 1GB...

I have a problem, one i did not find a solution in the various FAQ's...

DA:O+A, patched to 1.4 after addon install.
Game is digital deluxe bundle (download)

Redeemed All DLC's from Deluxe, worked fine after some trouble but i found a solution in the forum.

Now my current problem:

After leaveing the game to restart the game (because of loading times and graphic lag increase) I get the message:

"The Savegame includes premium content, the owner of that content must be logged in"
Well i was loged in..i logged out 3 times and reloged in but no change

anyone got any hints?^^

hi, i intend to buy some new dlc's but when i try to log in to my account through the game it says that i have no internet connection which is not true. after several log in attempts i get a message that the Dragon Age servers are down, im trying to log in for half a day and i looked for any signs of server maintenance but i fail to find. im yet to update my game to version 1.04 , i didnt want to ruin something by mistake. i'd really appreciate any suggestions !

I am having a problem, i created a dalish elf 2 handed warrior.  When i got the chance to get the berserk sustanable ability i thought it was really nice until it kept turning itself off.

When ever i turn berserk on before during or after a battle, if i open up a window, click to pick up loot, or switch to a differant character, berserk turns otself off, but indominable stays on.

I have the latest 1.04 patch and everything  but this problem gets really annoying really fast

I don't know if anyone has experienced this but I couldn't find it through a search. After installing and finishing Witch Hunt and getting the achievements I decided to start a new game and while the new items from Witch Hunt are there along with DDE extras and such the items from Golems, Blightblood and Battledress no longer show up in my inventory. I started a new HN Origin if that helps. I saved then quit to the main screen and disabled them then reloaded (forced) and saved then re-enabled them but still no joy. Anyone else had this or have any tips?

Never mind. It's sorted, just had to quit the game entirely
